MainStay Suites Colorado Springs East - Medical Center Area - Extended stay hotel in Colorado Springs - 5940 Stetson Hills Blvd Building B, USA

I had the pleasure of staying at this location for the past two and a half months. Considering the rate of the rooms, what I got far exceeded what I paid for. I stayed in three different rooms with my family, all of which were pretty clean. The size of the rooms are pretty solid, and the bathrooms are some of the nicer "budget" hotel bathrooms I've seen. The bed was very nice, and the TV is a pretty large size... maybe the largest I've seen in a "budget" hotel room yet. Room comes with a small kitchen with refrigerator, sink and dish washer as well as a few pots and pans with some silverware. The breakfast bar every morning is pretty good too, again one of the better ones I've seen. Relatively clean, and the food isn't too bad either. They will cycle out different types of food every few days or so. The staff are pretty nice. They would say hi to me every time I walked down to the lobby. They have a laundry room which is kept clean and tidy. There is a pool and hot tub, but sadly the hot tub was broken for most of the time we were there. All of this is to say that this hotel easily became and felt like a home away from home while we were there. I only have good things to say about this place, and would highly recommend to others. If I need a hotel in Colorado Springs again I will be staying here.

We opted to stay on the East side of the Springs to avoid some of the traffic and construction on the West side. We had to wait 35 minutes after our check in for them to prepare our room. The shower was left with long black hair on the bottom of it. The shower curtain and the bedspread also had long dark hair on them as well. My husband cleaned it up with paper towels and bath towels. It was quite a lot. The staff was nice. The hot tub was not hot! It was barely warm. Pool looked like it needed cleaned, the water was murky.

Response to the business -- Manish, we anticipated the possibility of you fabricating a falsehood regarding the room's condition. Fortunately, we meticulously recorded a video capturing every aspect of the room, revealing no evidence of damage. This footage also clearly shows us leaving the keys inside and securely locking the door upon our departure. Wishing you good luck with your fraudulent and baseless claims. Original review -- My stay at Mainstay Suites was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was going to be a disappointing experience. The staff, from the top down, were incredibly rude and unprofessional, showing a complete lack of hospitality. The room itself was dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor that permeated everything. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this hotel. To make matters worse, the room was infested with bugs, making it impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep. I would strongly advise against staying here. It was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I will not be returning.

This is a great new hotel that is in the best shopping location in Colorado Springs. They have a really good free breakfast and good free wifi. The room was very comfy and quiet and the staff polite, helpful and friendly. The exterior is well lit with plenty of parking and it's easy to keep an eye on your vehicle if you want. The price was competitive and reasonable. We will stay here again.

Positive: Rooms updated Negative: Yes, I was not expecting to have our room exit from the outside. All other floors were on the inside of the hotel. Go figure

Excellent customer service, room was very clean. Light in kitchen was flickering when we arrived night 1. Advised staff the next morning and it was fixed while we were out and about. Bed was very comfortable. Large bathroom and plenty of towels. Only thing we did not like was the plastic couch. It was not the most comfortable and was loud when sat down on. |Breakfast was good. We made waffles every morning we were there. Eggs were powdered, so we stayed away from those. Sausage was ok. The seasoned potatoes were excellent. |Overall, a great experience for the price we paid. Would stay here again

Positive: The room was very spacious, clean and all the items one would need for a longer stay. Enjoyed having a couch to sit on and multiple media ports. I've been here many times and have never been disappointed. The hotel is in a great location. The rooms/hotel are super clean. The complimentary breakfast is always good. The staff, including Jared, is always friendly & helpful.
