Mainsail Resort by Vacasa - Resort hotel in Miramar Beach - 114 Main Sail Dr, USA

The location was great! It is hidden in the middle of town, close to the beach. My view from my room was great. There was a great afternoon breeze from balcony, just not the best in the morning. The lil pond is home to many frogs. So I night that is all you hear. Thankfully we brought our sound machine. The gate guards were the sweetest people. The beach had no shells when we were there but the water was soo clear and beautiful. I loved how you didn't have a long sand walk to the beach and how we had 2 chairs included in with our room. The parking was good..2 cars per room.

4 stars just because our patio doors either didn't lock or wouldn't shut without slamming shut. Room 216. Plenty of room. Mostly clean. Beds comfy. The tree frogs and toads singing at night was a great bonus. Some people probably think it's annoying but I think it's fantastic and really made this place stand out from the rest. Reminded me of home. Nice courtyard. Nice pool. Great beach.

Upon arrival we were not thrilled with the service. It was not easy to get anyone on the phone. We did not know where to check in and locating our rooms proved a bit confusing. However, thanks to the security staff at the guard shack, we were able to locate everything and after that things smoothed out. Once we got settled, the location improved significantly. The view from the 8th floor was worth the initial irritation. Great accomodations and keep up very well. Close to local restaurants and shopping centers. Plus being on the water front, I guess everything is a little rocky the first time around. Would definitely recommend Mainsail, just keep in mind you cannot check in early and make sure you know where to go and get ho to contact for check in.

Room 371 Personally not worth the price we paid! Needs updated badly cheetah and the white cream sofa looks stained absolutely no beach decor and the carpet needs changed it looks old and worn out! The first bathrooms toilet is loose every time you sit down it thumps! We found a chewed tobacco pouch by one of the beds in the first room and the blinds are missing two blinds which people can see right in with you changing! Also not very equipped in the kitchen it would be hard to make a meal in there without buying your own utensils! Lastly they gave us 2 garbage bags, 2 pods for dishwasher and laundry for 7 days with 4 people! Also the commentary beach chairs are in a circle with everyone else staying there and then they have owners chairs lined out and they will not let you sit in them even with them being empty but won’t put more chairs and umbrellas out for you! Will not be back to this specific resort!

I cannot say enough about how nice and helpful the workers of Mainsale have been today after losing my phone. They noticed I looked stressed and helped me fine my phone. House keeping found my phone in the parking lot after it had been ran over, turned it in, and two workers took the time out of their day to help me find it! Very nice customer service!

What a great place to take in Destin! Stayed with Airbnb and had a great place. Note that the beach chairs are for owners that pay and reservations can only be made by the owners. Was not an issue during our stay, but can see this being an issue when it get busy. Don't forget to head to the beach of an evening for family photos and Ghost Crabs!

We rented unit 382 off the facebook page. The 3 bedroom unit was clean, quiet and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The community grills were available, rarely busy. The heated pool is a little bit of a walk but well worth it. We did not use the tennis/pickelball court but we did watch people play. The morning ocean view was wonderful. There was a little construction going on but we were at the beach during the day so we didn't really hear much of the noise. I can't wait to go back

The condo we stayed in was amazing and the location was perfect and right on the beach. The pool and hot tub were a great end to a beach day. The weight room was prefect for my teenager, so he could keep up with his workouts for sports. Parking was always available and easy. However the building is dated and the elevators kept breaking down, resulting in some people getting stuck for a couple hours. Probably need to have the elevators serviced more often to ensure they remain working. We were located in Building 3.
