Manager Brenda Mays is very friendly and cares about her clients. Always has a smile to greet You. Workers are friendly too. Excellent food. Excellent Service. I love the wonderful Christian environment. Love the gift shop. Susan is very friendly and helpful

Main Street is an amazing cafe! Their food is always fresh and always good! All the girls that run the place are wonderful! Super sweet and very friendly. Anything from Delicious soups to Sandwiches and not to mention all the Baked goods! If you haven’t tried this wonderful place you should definitely stop by. It’s a wonderful experience.

Came through town on Monday and stopped in for lunch. Absolutely loved the Cafe! Chicken club was delicious and service was excellent! Will definitely go back and recommend to others!

Today was a huge disappointment. I have been here many times. I’m have always had a great experience. Today I was ashamed. I took a very close friend there ok to have her hot sandwich with cold chicken. I didn’t know what to tell her I was shocked. This was a $10.00 sandwich which was only worth $1.00 . I ordered a sub lol 😝 because it was so small you really didn’t know what it was . At $12.00 for it it was extremely expensive and disappointing. Are they cutting corners now if so , I will never come again. When lunch is over $30.00 and you have had gastric bypass surgery and can not eat a lot and you go hungry it’s not acceptable. Even the drink cups were reduced by 1/2 of their size . I can not imagine that cost price has increased to this . I hope 🤞 management will read my comments but have no explanation. New employees have no idea 🤷‍♀️ how to fix the sandwich’s that we were getting before. If you plan to visit, and you have been before plan on being very disappointed. McDonalds is a much better option . I can not tell you how embarrassing my experience was with a close friend, I was bragging about this place. Now I feel I’ll never come back

If you have eaten here before, plan to be very disappointed and angry. Service was poor and so was the food. A close girlfriend and I come here often. Her hot chicken sandwich had ice cold chicken. At $10.00 for this sandwich and this was her favorite sandwich here she was disgusted. My sub sandwich that I ordered before was so small two thin slices of bread would have been better. At $12.00 for this was asking much. Even the drink cups were reduced by 1/2 . For a $30.00 lunch which I tipped at time of order was disappointing at best . This has been a place I go to once a week. I hate McDonalds but feel I’ll go there instead of here . Cutting costs and quality to this point is definitely disappointing. I was embarrassed to take a close girlfriend here . I don’t expect I will get a reply as I don’t think they care. It’s hard to complain when you are on a date and don’t want to make a public display. Unless they reach out I’ll never come back to this place. Please beware

Hands down one of the best Chicken Caesar Salads I have ever had! Warm, friendly service and a clean relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating. Highly recommended!

The owner and ladies that work here are awesome! Definitely worth a stop and eat if you are looking for some good food in Altavista!

Came in for a wedding for the weekend and sad I only came here once on our short stay. Very cute inside. Looks like it used to be a bank, there's a cool vault door leading to a room (now to eat). There's a little shop with nice items to buy. I had the little Italy sandwich with a coffee and it was delicious! Again, I came in on our last day, before going to the airport, and was disappointed we couldn't try other items on the menu, because they sounded appetizing. Would definitely come back.
