I got a cup of turkey soup and a cheeseburger and fries. The turkey soup was okay, the flavor was a little confusing. It seemed like the person making it wasn't quite sure what direction they wanted to go with it; like a traditional chicken soup or more of an Italian wedding soup. It landed somewhere in the middle. But, it was hearty and clearly homemade. My cheeseburger was very attractive and a healthy handful. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. Bun was nice. The burger itself was cooked perfectly. My only comment would be that I don't think that the meat was seasoned at all. The fries were absolutely perfect. They were shoestring style, golden and fried beautifully. The issue that would make me hesitant to return was the server's response to my food allergy. Each time I stressed that being exposed to the item I am allergic to would end in my having anaphylaxis, the server said, "Got it, no (name of food)." That REALLY didn't make me confident that the server understood what a food allergy is or that my eating something I am allergic to could end in my death.
Great place !!! Lots of parking in the area ! Nice place and not too crowded ! Just driving through on the way to Boston stop in to get breakfast. The young lady who took our order was very polite and funny . Great sense of humor . I got a veggie omelette & She recommended for me to Get the potatoes crispy ! My husband wanted a Blueberry muffin with his meal and she recommended for him To get it grill with butter . It was delicious! Everything was great 👍 🤗. Thank you for the great customer service and God bless you 🙏.
Great Service and good! I recommend the steak tips 😋
Service is always good. A lot of the booths are in a state of disrepair and need replacing, or at least some repairs. The biggest fail is the food. The home fries are boiled and barely seasoned. The eggs are really low quality. You can tell by the extremely pale yellow of the yolks. They taste like it too. All said and done I'm capable of a much better breakfast at home. Honestly most people are. It's nearby and an easy cheap breakfast if you don't feel like cooking. But there are much better breakfast options in Marlborough.
Terrible service place smelling like rats very bad food home fries looked like leftovers need to improve a lot I won't be back!
Great local spot for breakfast or lunch! They serve breakfast up until closing time. Prices are reasonable, even as everything else has gone up considerably. Service is prompt and friendly. Parking is plentiful on a weekday morning but is on street
We will definitely be back. The prices are great, staff is friendly and attentive, and the food was good and less greasy than typical "diner" breakfast places. The pictures don't do it justice, but it was good. Plus, they apparently have a full liquor license and do bloody mary's, etc. We haven't tried any of that yet, but this is a definite bonus for those days you're craving brunch. Good find.
The guy with glasses was very unprofessional, to take the order he had to sit down on the table next to it, when i gave him the order he told me "hold on, i can only write things slow" which you know i am a server and i would never tell my customer something like that, very rude, breakfast is quick you are suppose to know how to take an order. The place has mosquitos all over on the table, the coffee was waterry. i got an omellle and it was just disgusting. We didnt complain because we didnt want to cause a scene but i will never be back. This cafe is in such a good location and it would be a great breakfast place but there is a lot that needs to be changed for starts they should add music at least.
