This library is great, but the kids section!! Over the top amazing. A must-see even if you can't spend the day.

The Main Toledo Public Library is an exemplary community hub with the SAME Cafe, meeting spaces, artistic displays, and music concerts.

An awesome collection of books, journals, movies, documentaries, audio books and music CDs. The kids section the 3rd floor is big and packed with various activities. There are many computers around the library that you can use for web browsing or searching the library catalog.

I was shocked on how nice and large this library is. The children's area is nice. Three stories high and a large library. I will be making a day trip to this location soon to be able to check it out in more detail. They were allowing our girl scout troops to have a fairy tale ball there.

2 star cause the library is great and love it, but I was reading a graphic novel ( located in the teen section) and the security came up to me and told me I "couldn't sleep in the library or I would be kicked out" I had my hand in my head, reading a graphic novel. I wasn't sleeping in the least, and multiple people have mentioned this. Get rid of her

I love my library when I was a kid I used to come here and look up it all the artwork that adorned the central lobby, get lost in books for months on end and now my books are in the library! I have become the author of a program that I did during the pandemic that inspires children to read all over the world.

Awesome art gift shop. It definitely rivals Art depot. I would definitely purchase everything thats available to public. If you are into art and spiritual cleansing this is a perfect location for all your creative and spiritual needs/ wants. My purchase today was writers gloves which is for authors busy at keyboard. My purchase was a luckily 60% off, yah me. I'm also enjoying a Hibiscus and green tea at the Cafe.

Beautiful and quiet library in downtown Toledo. They have a whole area dedicated to children and the rooftop is open with seating and a great view of the city. It is the biggest library in the Toledo area with a wide selection of books. There is a parking lot on site as well with free parking on the weekends, after 7:00pm on weekdays and for the first 2 hours on weekdays.
