One of our favorite gluten free places! Always fresh and delicious with clean and friendly atmosphere! Recently they just got Mac n cheese which my kids found a little on the spicy side but still a hit in our book!
This place had the right concept but DID NOT deliver on it. It was our first time there and we informed the young man who was serving us. It would’ve been nice for him to warn us that there were no meat options available other than BBQ chicken and Teriyaki chicken, considering that we ordered the Big Mahana plates, which comes with two meats of your choosing. So much for that. It wasn’t til we got to the meats that he asked what kind of meats I wanted, as if there were more than two options. That was really annoying. Again, a heads up would’ve been nice. Especially because we got there a little after 4pm and the website says their open til 8pm. You’re not expecting them to NOT have any meat options. The food was luke warm at best. Taste like it had been sitting for a long time. Veggies were very bland, and not as flavorful as described. When the young man was making my husband’s plate, with spinach being base, he reached back in the plate with the tongs and scooped back out 6 pieces of spinach because I guess those extra spinach pieces were going to hurt the business?? I really don’t understand businesses like this. We paid a little over $30 for our plates and it felt like a big waste!
A favorite lunch spot of mine during the work week for a fast, healthy meal. I typically order ahead through the app and my meal is always ready for pickup within 5 minutes. Always packed with flavor and the serving sizes can easily be split into two meals.
Take out was good. The ordering platform they use is not user friendly. Can not check out as a guest for fast access. They forgot the sauce on multiple items in the order. Healthy food options and like that they have tofu for vegetarian options.
Lots of delicious, healthy options. I got a vegetarian bowl and my husband got a steak bowl. All gluten free. Friendly helpful service and recommendations from the staff.
Love this place! The manager is super kind and the food is amazing. One of the only gluten free places we can eat at in town!
Was there 2 nights ago and there was nothing "Fresh" about it. Foods had obviously been sitting out for hours as they were burnt, even the broccoli was mostly black. The rice was mushy and the overall flavor was char. Not super clean and $25 for 2 meals is high even if it was edible. Won't be back. It's too bad cause the website looks wonderful and the idea sounded delicious.
Mahana Fresh is one of my favorite spots to eat. I like that the food is fresh, includes healthy ingredients and it is quick to pick up or eat in the restaurant. I'll be back again soon.
