Mahala - Hotel in Palm Springs - 1777 N Palm Canyon Dr, USA

This hotel has a good location on the main road but is quiet and peaceful. About 10 rooms inside - all facing the patio and other rooms. Small, but comfortable modern rooms. The carpet was fine - I find it massaging for bare feet. They provide complimentary toiletries and water, cookies, and chips. Brian was extremely supportive and friendly, answering all questions and completing some requests. The pool is not very big but enough to enjoy water and cool down. I would add some umbrellas for better shade, but they had a few areas where you could avoid heat. Palm springs is an expensive area and this hotel is not cheap, but it's cozy and comfortable. Overall, nice and enjoyable stay.

I had an amazing stay here over the recent weekend. I booked it for Coachella weekend and they made check-in VERY easy. Parking was super chill. Entered the complex to an intimate and open area with seats, a pool, jacuzzi, and lounge chairs. A hella vibe with the way they decorated. The room itself had great AC, comfortable bed, good wifi and a smart tv. Honestly, favorite part was the complimentary drinks in the fridge and snacks. It was a nice touch lol. The place is near downtown and close to toucans if that’s your vibe. Honestly, loved how easy it was to travel to Coachella’s shuttle spot. Lastly, huge shoutout to their housekeeper who was there to help with anything I needed. She was very nice and helpful in every way. Would stay again someday :)

My partner and I stayed here for 2x nights in March 2024. It was our first time in Palm Springs and we were so happy we chose this place. The room was super clean, very big, and we enjoyed it. Staff was lovely and the whole property is great. Lots of parking, it's a small place so it's very quiet as there are not a ton of rooms. Would stay here again for sure. I wish we had a king size bed since the room was so big. That's really the only thing I could imagine changing.

What a wonderful little desert find.. I stay at big chain hotels on a regular basis, but today I was looking for something uniquely refreshing and I found it at Mahala. The rooms are comfortable and nicely done, as is the courtyard and your pool, but my 5 stars are for all of the thought you put into your customer service. I love the little in room snacks and complimentary soda and water… The big boys dont compare… You all really have created a beautiful oasis.

I was quite surprised when my wife and I arrived at this hidden gem; from the front, it almost looked abandoned, and there was no parking. However, our perceptions changed once we found parking around the back and entered through the gate. The heightened security measures were impressive and made us feel very secure. Both the interior and exterior decor were charmingly designed. I appreciate that it's an adults-only hotel. Unfortunately, I have to deduct a star due to the noises we heard throughout the night, which sounded like someone was walking on the roof and was quite unsettling. Despite this, the place definitely shouldn't be overlooked, and we plan to return someday.

Wonderful hotel in a great location within walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. The rooms are modern and clean, although the carpet is slightly uncomfortable underfoot as mentioned in other reviews. We loved the courtyard with pool and jacuzzi. There’s also plenty of parking for guests.

We recently stayed as part of American road trip for our Honeymoon. Staff were friendly, accomodating and welcomed us with friendly text messages and a smile. The room was well appointed and we loved the outdoor spaces. The hot tub was lovely to soak in whilst the weather was cool outside! 100% would stay again. Great value for money.

A must need stay in Palm Springs! Vibrant and exciting, escape in your own private desert modern room and be greeted with the upmost hospitality. Waters, snacks, and every accessible port for charging or streaming! Thank you for the hospitality!! Everyone come and see!
