Great for a picnic, don't feed the animals. It will make them sick or too dependent on humans for food. Some swim here, bit I'd rather be in cleaner water with less people. Sometimes beaches close due to bacteria.
great swim area with active life guards on duty. it is close to the parking lot and there is a fenced off area for swimming there are restrooms and Wash off areas there are also some picnic tables there are ducks and pigeons around overall a nice spot to cool off when other areas in Magnuson park is hotter and good spot to relax and watch boats pass and waves go
We love swimming here when there are no lifeguards. Two of the three lifeguards we spoke to today were rude. One of which walked away from my daughter in the middle of her swim test. No communication. I noticed a lot of bad attitude from the lifeguards on duty. Unfortunate, we will be avoiding this swimming area during the life guard duties.
Nice park along lake, the route is easy for people to drive in and out.
Alright js Raining during this time of the year 2023
Great place to swim, paddle board, take a walk with your pup, bbq with friends, sunbathe, or just read by the lake and watch the duck families waddle about their business. Plenty of parking but arrive early on sunny days to get a closer spot!
Water is COLD but the park is beautiful. It has restrooms and lifeguards. Bring your own food and drink. Parking is tough.
