Horrible service from daytime weekend front desk lady which resulted in me checking out early and was not compensated for it. Other staff was pretty nice. Morning breakfast child snack was a joke. Beds was really firm and uncomfortable to sleep on but was quiet at night. Spider webs along ceiling and chips paint in several areas I seen. Pool was nice except paint was chipped and on pool floor so maybe they don't clean it fully. But that brown curly hair shoulder length woman ruined my stay and from reviewing other comments, I assume she has been there for awhile, so warning to whoever is seeking to stay there. I won't be staying there again, only have 2 stars for honest judgemental of place as a whole but was so angry that I would of done 0 bc of that woman

The overnight staff at this establishment need to be replaced immediately. I haven’t met one person that works overnight that has any customer service skills whatsoever. I got 2 rooms for a couple of days and they made me pay a $100 deposit in each of them. First I find that strange. Excuse whether you have 1 or 2 “temporary holds” on your card you can adjust the price to fit whatever it may be that you are being charged for. Well lo and behold if they didn’t “steal” my deposit because my kids got in the pool a little after it was closed. No biggie at all…me and my crew of 50 plus will gladly stay elsewhere for the next 9 months that we are in town!

My family and I stayed at this hotel recently. We got two of the double queen rooms. The staff was accommodating to my request of having connecting rooms. They were also kind and friendly when we had questions regarding the rooms or the area. They do offer free breakfast with a selection of juice, yogurt, fruit cup, muffin, and a granola bar. I was hopeful of seeing some warm items. It’s kind of tucked away in the corner of what used to be a shopping mall, now with most stores out of business. I can’t imagine much public foot traffic comes by, which is good as we were originally concerned about the safety of the place considering it’s rough surroundings. Now, onto the rooms. This is what dragged this review down. When we got to our rooms we noticed a very strong odor. Perhaps body odor or just musky. I brought this to the attention of the staff and they offered to spray with a disinfectant. I passed as we had an infant and didn’t want it to be a concern of irritation. We ended up getting febreze at the Walmart nearby. We used almost half the bottle and it only provided temporary relief. Visibly the rooms looked to be expected. The sheets had a few stains and holes but nothing major. The towels were clean and nothing of concern. The floors did have this odd residue. I think it’s the cleaner used in the bathroom, it had also rubbed onto the carpet and provided that weird feeling when bare footed. The rooms are dated but it appears that the management is in the works of some improvements. One of our rooms were right against the hall where they have their laundry and cleaning area, we had constantly heard the cleaning carts bumping the wall as well as other guests foot traffic. If you are looking for a mediocre room that’s cheap, the Magnuson can fulfill that. I think if they made a few mirror changes to address the issues listed it would greatly improve the guest experience.

The hotel was easy to find and check-in was quick and easy. The room needed air freshner badly .It had peeling plaster in bathroom and floor was sticky after shower from cleaning products. The biggest problem was the parking. We had to park our car on the other end of the hotel and walk to our room both nights we were there. The price is a bit high for the inconviences.

Positive: It was cheap, & we got what we paid for. If cost is your main goal, there?s nothing wrong with staying here. Negative: It wasn?t updated but it was sufficient for a place to stay.

Positive: The location of the room was very quiet and relaxing Negative: The carpet has stains all over it

What's the difference between a granite slab and a bed at the Magnuson Hotel? Absolutely nothing! Didn't sleep a wink and couldn't hardly move the next morning. Dirty, smelly, shady guests doing shady things, inattentive staff, terrible in-room coffee that tastes like sawdust.

RebeccaRebecca

Positive: It was inexpensive and close to where I needed to be. Quiet, Negative: Smoking room couldn¿t be smoked in without a $--- fine. location didn¿t specify till at the door they have specific restrictions. The room was not very clean, hair in the tub, the room was extremely hot 81* when I arrived. Surfaces sticky Negative: ""

Our favorite campground in the Tulsa area. Always clean and well kept, lots of birds. They recently added some trails, a basketball court and are building a fishing pond. It’s right next to a dam and lots of people fish there.

Nice set up. Wide open spaces. Kid friendly. Get folks to take their dogs to the dog run area more? It's right in the gate area? But still a pretty nice place!

It's a quite lake that has a nice cemented walkway. I've seen various fowl on the water and banks. Never been there when I didn't see people of various ages fishing and having success, or dog walkers. A nice pavillion and picnic tables.
