Magnuson Hotel Little Rock South - Hotel in Little Rock - 2401 W 65th St, USA

We arrived late at night and the room I booked was supposed to have 2 beds and a couch, but the couch was missing. When I went back to the desk Abdullah went above and beyond. He called his maintenance guy and they pulled a full sized bed from another room and brought it to our room for the weekend. The room was an incredible size. A great price. An amazing room layout. Absolutely loved this place and would happily return!!

Only get 1 star because I can't leave 0. As soon as we pulled up at 8:30, we noticed a "no refunds" sign which seemed odd, but also I sign stating that the lobby closes/locks at 8pm. I immediately was sketched out. But it was a cheap room for the night. The room was dirty, smelled like stale cigarettes, and the floor was cracked and broken. TV didn't work. Beds were small and hard. The final straw was when we looked over and saw roaches crawling on the wall. We immediately packed the car and left. We spent all of 30 minutes there. The only remark from the front desk when told why we were leaving was "oh". Edited to add: my 12 year old found 3 unopened beer cans in the cabinet, which tells me they did not clean this room prior to us checking in.

Positive: The owner/manager was so helpful and welcoming. He went over and beyond to provide me a room to accommodate my disabilities. More hotels need his type of customer care attention personality. Negative: The hotel is being renovated and remodeled. The room was very spacious but there was still a lot of work to be done. The sink needed to be replaced. The breakfast was not what is shown in the pictures. Negative: ""

Online pictures that it shows are fake. The motel is run down, roaches everywhere, and marijuana in the dresser drawers. Not a safe place for children and very disgusting. DON’T GO THERE!! It also stinks very badly in every room, crackheads everywhere! When you try to get a refund they try their hardest to keep you there, changed rooms for us 3 different times when we asked for a refund. First room we were put in had roaches all up and down the room, second had marijuana in the drawer, third room they gave us a sweet which was not stinking like the others and was much better but still very nasty and they would not give us our refund. VERY BAD PLACE TO STAY!!!!

I have lived here for about 5 months now. I am not sure what the negative reviews are from (probably customers that got their own selves kicked out) but please see for yourself to make a judgement. The Magnuson location in Little Rock is amazing. The price is cheaper than any others and the rooms are actually pretty fair looking. As for the roaches, there does seem to have been some but they are decreasing them and it shows. Maintenence is great and works hard to keep the campus clean and everything fixed. There is also a security guard on duty at all times. Muhammad the owner is fair and easy to talk to, as well as the other staff. They also prioritize safety heavily which I appreciate as a single mother.

OMG I'm at helo. My room is amazing. 🤩 It was renovated and everything was prettied up. I dident expect to SEE pretty colored walls. Now roches they have a pest control man come out every month and spray PLEASE BE ADVISED THEY ARE BY A FREEWAY AND FIELDS WITH WOODS SO THAT WILL HAPPEN TIME TO TIME. Great job to new manager Mohammed, the maintenance and housekeeping. You keep up the great job 👍. UPDATE- Please come see My friend Mohammed (manager)-owner he and his co-workers are amazing there like family here. They have gone up and beyond to help with what they can. Mohammed and his employees are doing the Best they can to get rooms and stuff up and running. Mohammed started here 2 years ago so he is working around the clock to get rooms renovated pool fixed and the hotel back in order as old manager/owner let the place down. Please give Mohammed and his employees a chance to get stuff done and it takes time little by little. Mohammed renovated the rooms SO the color now is baby blue with dark blue in the rooms, there is a Big real wooded head board very long headboard on the wall and he Even put new lights in the rooms with little movable lights so your family member or Fraind at night can sleep and You can read. Please come check they out You won't regreat It.

Owner and staff are awesome. If you have any issue you can go to maintenance, the guys at the front desk or the owner himself and they will do what they can to help take care of the issue. They are working on improving the place everyday. Keep up the good work and thanks for always being kind and friendly.

Positive: Um... nothing except that we had a safe place to sleep I guess Negative: This place is more like a 1-star motel. It felt gross, falling apart, the bed was sub-par, the staff did the bare minimum... I've spent only $10 more on some places that were 3 times better than here. Negative: ""
