Magic Mountain Ski Area - Ski resort in Londonderry - 495 Magic Mountain Access Rd, USA

Today was my first time visiting Magic, I’ll definitely be back. I loved the old school vibe, all staff were extremely friendly. Longest wait to get on a lift was about 90 seconds. I absolutely loved the natural conditions, lots of bumps! Can’t wait to go back in two weeks. Best part was no flatlanders in sight!!

Great place to go for lunch and tasty drinks after a nice hike. Don't forget to buy tickets and take the ski lift up to the top and enjoy a beer at the little outdoor bar and enjoy the view!

Have skied Magic Mountain twice, once in the dead of winter when the temperatures were freezing cold then another time in the spring during their last weekend opened for the season. From a terrain perspective Magic definitely is the best in Southern Vermont and has that old school Mad River Glen type vibe. Alot of the terrain remains ungroomed and the mountain does have quite a few areas with steep pitches and solid tree skiing when there is snow. One thing to keep in mind is that the lifts are slow so on very cold days make sure to really bundle up as the ride to the top takes around 15 minutes. We had to cut one of our days there short during the main winter season because we didn't dress warm enough and froze to death riding up the lift.

Come make magic at magic mountain 🏔️ Magic mountain is cheaper than other ski resorts near by and it does show a little mainly in the ski lift department. They are a bit shaky and Rusty and some of the supports are leaning it's a little scary but there are some pretty cool slops to go down my favorite was magic carpet.The Lodge is nice they have a nice outdoor deck there wasn't wifi but fries and chicken tenders are good.

Magic has created a hotspot of nightlife at it's black line tavern, so there's a lot to offer day and night. Magic has more snow making capacity than before, and the trails are a great challenge. If you ski trees, the Wardrobe is one of the best in New England.

March Gladness! Snowpocalypse 2023! Half of VT region - no power. Got 4 pillowy 3+ ft deep runs before outage. Bummah! Got vouchers, came next day and nobody showed up. Tuesday became a recon mission and few dozen of us bat cleanup ALL DAY!! Every frown got turned upside down. And thus, the lore of Magic Mt. continues to deliver! Pics or it didn't happen, you say? Well, here ya go...

What a fun little mountain 🏔 with a lovely bunch of people throughout the various areas - lift operators, ticket box office, ski patrol, servers, bar tenders, and, thankfully, even the other patrons were magical - we were pleased to share the Magic 🪄 with them all. . While there wasn’t as much snow as we’d hoped for, the conditions for February were equal to spring skiing - a real bluebird day with my favorite cousin & Londonderry local! . Magic Mountain is magical - I’m glad we left the beaten path - without a doubt, l’ll be back! *Buying my ticket online was easy and collecting it at the ticket booth was a breeze. I just wish there was still an option for half day prices, but I’m happy to #supportsmall and I love that they haven’t sold out to the monopolies!

I've been coming here for a few years now, and one can only say the experience is certainly magical. This mountain has the most unique charm and laid-back back atmosphere. Everybody is so friendly, and it's great to have a caring community around. The trails are great, with terrain for every type of skier. It's a bit of a jump for beginners, but ski school has amazing instructors who help to get you on your feet. The rental crew is super helpful and makes the set up so much easier. Lastly, there's nothing like unwinding at the tavern after a long day for good vibes, great food/drinks, and live music. Always recommended!
