My husband proposed to me here in 2017. We come back every year and love the wine tasting and cheese. Of course we leave with at least 4 bottles of wine to bring home. Wonderful service and the wine is great!❤️
Gorgeous setting with indoor and outdoor seating options. Exceptional service and experience. Tried 6 different wines and thought the taste was good but not quite our favorite. Overall fun place to walk to from High Hill Ranch.
One of our favorite wineries. Paul and his staff take such good care of all their patrons! Discovered them last year during the Nevada day, on our annual visit to Apple Hill. They always take good care of Nevada residents on Nevada day, when practically the entire city of Reno goes to California LOL! Make sure you check out Rucksack Winery which is also owned by Paul, across the street.
This winery overlooks the beautiful vineyard in the gorgeous apple hill. The winner is owned by a husband and wife who work in the tasting room and throw all the wine member events. They remember you each time and are so sweet. It’s rare to find the owners of a winery still being active members of the daily running. It’s truly refreshing and adds a great vibe to the place. They have a very friendly pup that enjoys greeting the guests and a little cat who keeps to himself. Really a lovely place ! Great wine club too, we’ve been members for almost two years !
Madrona Vineyards is absolutely one of my favorite wineries in Apple Hill. The owners are always at the tasting room and are very hands on with clients to give opinions on pairing, aging, and to answer any questions regarding the vineyard. I have been a club member for a few years now and the pick up parties they throw every year are so much fun! Check out their website during summer and fall as they have many events that anyone can attend. Great vibes and better wine!
Red wines are very good. Merlot is one of my favorites
Beautiful winery and delicious wine. The owner Paul and all the staffs were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our time there.
The winery had some good wines. The flies in the tasting room made the experience dissatisfying. My boyfriend and I both got some extra protein (flies) in the wines we received. Get rid of the flies and maybe the experience will be better.

I stayed in the Stone Pine room. Beautiful and lush garden surroundings complete with pond and rowboat! Every detail of the rooms was tended to, from the high thread count sheets to the 1-push button lighting/gas fireplace setup. The private soaking
The spam and kimchi sandwich was of the best sandwiches Iâve ever had! The menu is extremely creative and the flavour combinations worked so well. It was a really hefty sandwich packed with ingredients, and seemed to be put together with a lot of c
Really neat exhibits and the docent basically gave me a personal tour. Really cool. I learned some things I had never heard before and also connected the dots from related areas (like Virginia City!). I would go back (and bring friends who also enjoy
This is an awesome quaint little place with a neat little outdoor courtyard. I've always loved their locations in Sacramento and this one is just as good. They really do espresso drinks right. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Love how they
Have to give them a 5-star rating just for being open on a Sunday afternoon in late January. But besides that it had a great selection of items to see, plus they were making great brisket sandwiches, that were excellent. Glad that we stopped by and
In-N-Out is always a must visit fast food restaurant when visit California. This location had great service and clean dinning area. Highly recommended!
Quaint, comfortable, definitely worth the visit. Scones and latte were good. The rosemary lemon scone was a little heavy on the rosemary. Will I go back, ABSOLUTELY! Take a walk around the old town while you're here.
The tour of the mine itself was okay. We had followed a family in to the mine and it was hard to listen to our audio guide with another audio guide playing nearby. It would have been nice to have a transcript of the audio to read instead. Maybe there
