Madison Garden Bar and Grill - Bar & grill in Richmond - 152 N Madison Ave, USA

This place is a complete rip off.. the past 3 times I’ve order I’ve either been taken advantage of or lied to on the price, I received there (5 piece $8.99) half moon fried green tomatoes lol which is frankly a scam. And then I ordered their 9.99 house salad with ranch and was told that they charge for the ranch? I’ve never been anywhere that charge extra for dressing for a salad unless you get extra.. so I wasn’t charge the 9.99 plus tax, I was charged 14.36?!! It’s sad because they are busy all the time, but I ask myself if they are getting done the same unknowingly or simply allow it.

I'm from Tennessee but went here to meet family who lives in Richmond KY and other family in town for a family reunion. Our servers, Bree and Brianna (I think that's their names, just remembered both names started with a "B") did a great job serving and accommodating about 20-25 of us. This place apparently is a "hot spot" and I was told had the best chicken wings though I didn't order them. Parking is very limited so you may want to get there early enough before their crowd or be prepared to park and walk a little. I recommend it and next time in town, plan to go here again.

I ordered fish dinner and baked potato and soup . The soup was supposed to be vegetable but more like tomato soup with day old vegetables thrown in. I didn’t not eat it. The fish was greasy and potato was a potato from the day before just microwaved lol. I was able to eat them had some Tums . My partner ordered grilled chicken it was so dry had dip in ketchup to eat . Service was so so at best. Know now to order online dry rub wings and pick up Probably won’t go back for dine in.

We moved herebfrom Michigan and were craving our chicken wings. Googled best wings in Richmond and Madison Garden was on the top of the list. We were a bit disappointed as the last time we ate here it was terrible. I had the Ruben and it had no meat on it and my husband had fish straight out of the box warmed up. We thought well well try it again maybe the wings will be better. I'd like to say the wings were good but we didn't get any wings. Our server came out after 25 minutes without our drinks and informed us that the bar was backed up (my husband ordered a beer) and the kitchen was backed up so it would be awhile. I said how long and he said I don't know. We left...never again.

We had takeout, it has been years since I have ate there. The take out was amazing even by the time we made it home. The wings were just as good as I remember them. I had to do inside to pick up my order. I had to wait about 15min top of how ever long it took to drive. I didn't like the atmosphere because it is a bar. I am not into that scene anymore so I just didn't want to be in there. But there wings (dry btw) are still the best wings I've ever ate, ever! And I love trying wings blows A crumy joint like Hooters out of the water. We got 15 wings, fries mushrooms, the loaded chips, and fries and it was about $50.

Wings are the best! I had the Ian Alman pasta with shrimp. So good! Erika was an excellent server!

It was a nice enough place and the food was pretty good. The rum buckets don't actually have much rum in them, but are still a good price for what they have. The atmosphere was good, there was a small stage and a TV but they weren't being used when I went. Our waitress was not nice and wasn't very good, she seemed very over it. Maybe she had a bad day.

Hadnt been here in a while. Food is still on point. Awesome wings!! Service, ugggg. 😞 When your server re applys makeup twice behind the bar instead of seeing if you would like a bit more water? So, mixed review. Food is incredible, service horrible.
