Why did I get sucked in with the high reviews? Could it be that there no one here understands what constitutes a french bakery? PRO: - Friendly staff - Nice looking stores CON: - Limited selection later in the afternoon - Prohibitively expensive. Almost $17 for 2 pastries? - Overhyped - I'm sorry but the pastries are meh. - I had a Marzipan pastry, I think? Where's the Marzipan, so cheaply thin. - Apple pastry was over spiced. All I tasted was cinnamon, not a sign of confidence in your pastry. - Zero Parking SUMMARY: I've lived in several french quarters, been in France and this is a fail. Fancy does not equal delicious. The french take their food very seriously. My pastries reflected that they do not unfortunately.

I am crazy about their tomato bread, it's seasonal, can't get it all the time. Staff is really helpful. It's a busy bakery, every time I walked in, it's always packed. I believe you will always find something to love.

We got an Almond Croissant as next day breakfast from Mademoiselle Colette and it was impressively delicious. The texture of croissant was layered & crispy but a little greasy and the almond filling was extremely creamy, rich and not artificial at all.

Cute, small location with their own unique pastries. They were slightly packed when I went. Otherwise, I could see myself chilling here with a drink and pastry to pass time. Got a goat cheese brioche, which was excellent! The goat cheese really shined through and the bread was chewy and tasty. Definitely going to try to find a time when they're not as busy to try out other pastries as well!

One of my favorite French bakeries in the bay are, top 2 in my list for sure! The baked pastries are real authentic French style (not Californian version ) , the croissant is a must try! Plain ones or chocolate ones, all really good! Don’t forget to try their cakes & desserts, real delicacies although a bit expensive. They know the art of making top class of desserts!!! Only reason I give it 4 stars is the service. Weekdays might be better, but last weekend there’s a long waiting time: the service team is extra slow and disorganized, though a short line, they took a lot of time to take care of each order, I waited for 25 min but there’s still 7 people in front of me waiting…..I had to return another day.

I am an almond croissant connoisseur. I almost always order an almond croissant if it’s available at a bakery. I’ve been doing this for over two decades. I can say without a doubt this is the best almond croissant I’ve ever had. It is flaky and decadent, very delicate, but structural. And the best thing is the almond filling - is not too sweet. If you’re someone that loves savory food, and occasionally likes a little treat, this is the almond croissant for you.

Best Croissants! Just the same as you would find in Paris! Flaky on the outside and soft inside! Must try!

We came on a Tuesday afternoon to get my birthday slice of cake and some tea. The place is small but very lovely and cozy, the place was not crowded. I liked the match of interior colors, wooden furniture and french music. The choice of cakes/pastries was smaller than what I expected. We ended up buying a chocolate cake for 11 usd and an almond-chocolate croissant for ~7usd, also two cups of tea. Totally paid somewhat 20 usd. The cake and pastry were very tasty, besides, we couldn’t finish them, so we took the remaining home in a box. Overall, very positive and lovely experience, I highly recommend this place whether you like to take a sweet bite or just work with your laptop in a nice environment. I would appreciate drinking from a real cup and eating from a real plate with a real fork, that would suit the atmosphere of this place better.
