Madeline's Restaurant & Wine Cellar in Cambria provides a warm atmosphere, cozy hospitality, and polished service. The restaurant serves homemade French/American cuisine as well as an array of international flavors made from farmers' market fresh ingredients. The menu changes seasonally, but you can expect to find fresh seafood, locally sourced meats, and vegetarian dishes. Our meal started with some bread and cheese. The bread was soft and easy to break. The cheese was not the easiest to spread, but it was delicious. My friend and I split one serving of their daily special soup (tomato basil soup). The soup was a bit watered down but very flavorful. My friend tried their Louisiana seafood gumbo. Seafood was fresh, but the gumbo was a bit salty. The portion size was decent. I got their Lamb Sirloin. Lamb was cooked nicely, but it was mostly bland because the chimichuri sauce was very watered down and barely stayed on the meat. Mashed potatoes were okay; a bit chunky and not as creamy. The service was fast. Our server was very good and attentive. If you are in the Cambria area, then it's worth checking out this place.

My husband and I had dinner at this little gem on Christmas night. They were packed, so service was naturally a bit slow, but the wait staff was friendly, genuine and clearly hustling as fast as they could. This restaurant is just what a local fine dining establishment should be, with a cozy atmosphere and utterly delicious food. My husband had the baked Brie and I had the house salad to start. The greens tasted as if they were freshly picked and the dressing was as perfectly balanced as you’d expect from a French bistro. I had the stuffed chicken breast — it was one of the best chicken dishes I’ve had at a restaurant.

This was our first time at Madeline's Restaurant and we loved it. Such an intimate setting inside, warm and inviting. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! Their cream of mushroom soup is amazing, so flavorful and the chicken stock base keeps the soup less dense than regular cream. Their chicken dish and fresh fish catch of the day dinners were cooked really well, loads of flavor and beautiful presentation. And dessert...omg...the raspberry key lime pie was SOO good!!

Decided to try and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent food and excellent wine pairing advice! Also dog friendly, but call ahead to make sure they have availability as they only have two patio seatings.

We went here for our elopement. It was decadent and perfect! Superb in every way. Keep in mind that if you order the burger, no matter how you order it, it will come rare.

My first time to Cambria, my boyfriend treated me to dinner here, one of his favorite restaurants as he is a Cambria lover and has been to this quaint extraordinary town several times, our dinners were absolutely incredible, exquisite, delicious cuisine, I had the fish special which was Seabass and it was so tender and flaky and yummy. We started with the salmon bisque which was out of this world, and my boyfriend had the lamb, it looked great though, he loved it! Our service was five-star, David our server was fun and delightful! highly recommend it!
