DELICIOUS PBR! ha, only slightly kidding, but seriously this place is delicious all around! Love the breading on the catfish. They are nuggets so nice crispy bite sized potions. The fries are PERFECT! Horray for real home cut fries!! The gumbo is also really good, and there’s a lot of shredded meat and it’s super thick. The seared redfish is sooooo good too, very flavorful, and a little on the fancy side with its creative sides and flavors. For an appetizer we got the fried gator. I really enjoyed the flavor and nice sized bites. Sauce is very complementary. Also, they have 16oz PBRS bc they are awesome. Note: it has a very hole in the wall feel with friendly staff, and the area is super fun with a nice patio for watching the world go by.

So I’m visiting from Texas and my friend brought me to this AMAAAZING restaurant! The kind staff, strong drinks ;-), and everything else was superb! The food had to be the best food I’ve eaten in a while. Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. I’ve never wanted to go back to a restaurant as bad as I do for this one 🤷🏽‍♀️😂. We got the fried green tomatoes with crab meat on top and drizzled in a special hot sauce, the salmon dinner, the redfish dinner, pecan pie in a caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, and lastly, bread pudding with ice cream. 10 out of 5 stars!

Great Place for a fresh and tasty meal or dinner.Outdoor seating as well as indoor high table, booth and bar seating. As for the food, this was my first time with my Coworker who recommended Maddie's Place. We had the Blackened turkey poboy and it was delicious and for the price it's surprisingly affordable. Fries were also delicious and the Ranch stood out as fresh and different, in a good way. Service was swift but it was lunch hour so, understandably it took maybe 10 minutes. The food did not disappoint, delicious! Turkey Po boy came with fresh blackened turkey, bacon strips, sautéed onions (i think), fried green tomatoes and your choice of cheese. As a bonus the fries are great or you can have chips as your side. Would recommend and will be back for more! Parking is available mostly directly accross the street and there is a wheelchair accessible crosswalk.

Wonderful good and service! Cheese grits are the best I’ve ever eaten. Pics are meat pies app, mimosa and beer, and bread pudding. Also had tomato soup and shrimp & grits in our group and all was fantastic. Highly recommended ⭐️

This was our first visit and the wife and I really enjoyed Maddie's Place. The food was very good and quite reasonably priced. I usually have a healthy appetite but I actually had to get a to go box because I couldn't eat it all. I ate the left overs the next day and they were just as good. I would also highly recommend the peanut butter chocolate pie, it was fantastic. The service was very good but I wouldn't say it was markedly better than any other restaurant I've been to. Overall it was very good experience and it will definitely be on our list to go again.

Was driving thru LR, was looking for some cajun food. Seared Redfish and garlic grits/ alligator bites. Fantastic meal. It was worth looking for.

Not impressed. Drove out of way to get here based off the other reviews and my husband and I are not a fan. For a $23.00 plate of 10 Shrimp and grits- can you take the tails off the shrimp? Mac and cheese had little flavor. Chicken had a fishy smell. Afterwards, it didn’t sit well with my husband. Staff was unorganized. One lady was a bit aggravated and service wasn’t up to par. They weren’t even that busy. Parking across the street, which was nice.

Flavorful. This is the only word you need to describe the food here at Maddie’s! Seafood, dips, veggies…. All were terrific! Even better, was the excellent service we received. What’s a good meal without it? I’d certainly recommend this spot to others.
