Madam Mikette's - Cocktail bar in New York - 987 2nd Ave, USA

Great happy hour. $10 for a great old fashioned with nice ice cubes. The bar is clean and a good place to talk and catch up. They have TVs but they weren't on before 7p. Not sure if they are on at other times.

I love the happy hour here! The crowd is always fun, bartenders know their stuff and make a mean whisky sour 😍 I also find the whole brand story of the place really cool, you can read it in the pictures!

We came for after-dinner drinks. All the options looked interesting. The ones we picked were solid, but nothing memorable. Well decorated space. Good atmosphere.

Nice spot with live jazz tho I didn’t find them to be impressive in their song selections or presentation Food : tasted good ! But the server brought our drinks promptly n disappeared for eternity to come for our food orders Finally , the food came -toast came without butter, coffee came without sugar, scrambled eggs (no fried tomato extra bacon) came with fried tomato n no bacon There was too much of a pause n go as a result at no point did we have all components of our meal at the ideal temperature-killed the flow n the enthusiasm It’s a cute concept but without enough servers the customer experience is rough ! Restrooms: “inclusive” but I did not expect to witness a guy pulling up his fly as I washed my hands-nor did I anticipate having to reach behind his a** to drop my used papers towels in the trash can in the narrow sink galley 😱

Randomly searching for a bar nearby and was pulled towards this place with its interesting story. I invited an associate as surprise as I knew they would love it. It is a great and cozy bar. I loved the bartenders: Carl and Sean. They both gave great suggestions for cocktails and we're so attentive-- even when their bar became full. People were so nice! It felt like this awesome, beautiful neighborhood bar that was a secret but also not. The clientele was so eclectic. Parents from nearby, members of the orchestra, professors and accountants, even a couple grad students... It has positively enhanced my thoughts of nightlife in New York. The decor is lovely. They are so many spaces to sit and to change the mood. I love the open front window. I definitely recommend this place.

Very interesting decor & a surprisingly large space, Madam Mikette’s was a nice spot to catch up with an old friend over some cocktails and French fries. The music was a bit loud which made it hard to hear the person across the table from me, but definitely kept the conversations at the surrounding tables private. Drinks were strong and flavorful, and the fries came out piping hot. Towards the end of the night, service got slow/inattentive & we had to ask 3 times for the check.

Came here with a large group (~15) for brunch at 12. We made a reservation but the restaurant was pretty empty throughout the few hours we were there. So we probably would have been okay walking in. They were supposed to have live Jazz playing, but the musicians never came out which was a huge bummer. They had unlimited brunch drinks for a few hours for about 45 dollars. Pretty good deal as they were refilling the containers instantly. My croque madam was great - no complaints other than I wish they had crispier fries.

This was just not my type of place. It may be great for others, especially on a slower night. I liked the Madam Mikette story, but the atmosphere was extremely loud to the point I could not hear my date across the 2-top table, and I was kind of grossed out by chicken wing bones on the floor next to my seat. The drinks were ok but I prefer more of a craft cocktail scene. To each their own!
