A quaint little breakfast joint right across from the beach on Plum Island. Filled with regulars and visitors, it might be hard to get a seat. Your patience will be rewarded as they are some of the nicest folks I’ve met in a long time, with great coffee, service, and food. They really make you feel at home. We look forward to our next visit there.
We visited Mad Martha's this past weekend and have to say the place is simply a great spot for breakfast. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere and well worth the wait with a cup of coffee hanging outside. If you not sure what to get, the menu and the specials board present some enticing choices, ask one of the regulars. I did, and was told the Hash n' eggs with the horseradish aioli is really good. And was it ever! We'll be back.
Such a great spot! Amazing savory options (I love the breakfast burrito), and the sweet options are standouts! Portuguese sweet bread French toast & pancakes are both amazing. Also, it’s BYOB! Bring some champagne for mimosas if you’re in the mood :) It’s a small spot, but there’s beach access across the street so you can take in the ocean as you wait for your table.
I am obsessed with this place! Owners Kyree & Kendall have something beautiful here at this spot. The food is beyond what you’d expect from any breakfast & lunch spot. The flavor of their corn beef hash is second to none. The French toast was definitely worth taking home what I just couldn’t finish at the counter- I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Visit early, be prepared to wait (it’s worth it!) and get ready to enjoy the experience!
Best damn brunch I’ve had! Bolo sandwiches are new to me and that was incredible and I’ve never had good corned beef until now. BYOB is clutch. Special was an apple crisp pancake and I can’t believe how amazing that was. 12/10 stars for this place please come try them out! Shrimp burrito took the cake though! Wanted to take pics but didn’t think about it until it was too late. Cheers!
This is a hidden gem on Plum Island. Staff goes out of their way to immediately feel welcomed and my friend, who is vegan got a wonderful option which he said, “was delicious.” The pancakes and breakfast burrito were superb. Pancakes were large and fluffy and burrito wrap was crisp and no soggy. Everything was 100%.
The best. Truly one of our favorite breakfast spots. Walk over, put your name in, grab a cup of coffee, and head for a walk on the beach. It’s a great start to any morning.
Very nice breakfast/brunch place. We ordered the French toast and make your own omelette. They have outdoor seating, which was amazing with the sea breeze. We will come back again if we are around. The only thing is waiting could be long. It took us 20 mins to get the table and 30 to order. Mostly because they have a tiny kitchen, but the service is very nice. Another best thing is they have street parking opposite.

Update: Finally had the Smash Burger...wow! Another great stop at the Beachcoma with my wife. I had the blackened haddock tacos and she had the Caprese Salad with Coconut Shrimp. Both were excellent as usual. Mike the bartender did a great job. E
