Mad Charlie’s Cafe is a gem! Great food and espresso. Interesting building and nice atmosphere. Has outdoor seating. Easy to access from Badger State Trail.
Enjoyed a beef pasty along with a cup of lentil stew. Cute vibe and atmosphere. I love the cat theme!
So, so good! Every time! Great coffee, the most amazing pastries, healthy organic food options from local farmers, friendly staff, and an awesome, relaxed atmosphere. I love to come here to visit with friends, work on my laptop, or have a breakfast date with my husband after visiting the farmers market. Definitely recommend. :)
Best mocha I've ever had, tasty breakfast sandwich, cute environment. We live the next town over and already have decided we'll make this cafe a regular destination.
Best coffe in town. Excellent sandwiches and salads, too!
Love this place; best coffee shop in Monroe. Amazing egg sandwiches, + smoothies, pastries, coffee + tasty alternatives and if you're lucky enough to be in when they are serving their mini cakes you must try one (the carrot cake is especially delicious-- the best I've ever had). Friendly staff too.
Had a fast lunch here this week. Plenty of vegeterian options. The beef pasty was yummy. Also the blueberry cheesecake & lemon bars were out of this world good!! Food was hot and delicious, we'll be back. Tons of cool cat stuff throught out the restaurant . Try it you'll like it.
What a lovely addition off the Monroe square with coffee bar drinks, fresh pastries, soups, salads and a lovely hash brown crusted quiche. A large dining area very quaint in different rooms with even a kids room with a large blackboard and things to entertain kids while parents sit and relax. Great concept! There is also an artist who gives painting classed and someone refills your coffee during the class. Thanks to the family who created this concept
Had a nice visit with my Dad and cousin. We learned a lot about the history of cheesemaking in WI. I especially enjoyed seeing the old cheese making setup! Very cool. Our tour guide was so obviously passionate about what he does which makes the exper
Wonderful small town family restaurant. All fresh cooked food and homemade food. Open for breakfast and lunch, daily specials. The Cafe can be quite busy and you may have to wait a bit for a table or booth. Well worth the wait and the service is very
