Absolutely gorgeous venue. When the curtains are opened, golden light streams in and it's very dramatic. Taking off a star because they don't allow water bottles into the venue and limit your ability to go in and out. Sat through a 3-hour graduation ceremony without any water. Not reasonable or humane.

The celebration was for graduation. They had an Opra singer and the acoustics where out of this world. Seats where comfortable and you have a great view from any seat in the house.

Went there for a graduation, and other than people not controlling bad kids, it was a good experience. I'm going to say that there's nothing about the auditorium to report. You got in, seated yourself, and got out.

I always enjoy seeing performances at the Macky. It is such a beautiful space. As a person with disabilities, having accessible seating is important, and thankfully the Macky has great options. My family and I frequent the Macky often for a variety of shows. It's especially meaningful to us as my husband is a CU graduate school alumni.

Decent auditorium venue. Went here for reel rock 17. It was on the University of Boulder campus so parking was a bit difficult but there were traffic cops there to help direct and parking was only $5. There were plenty of seats and seating was moderately comparable for a several hour showing. The audio quality was also solid. Bathrooms weren't the most conveniently located for men at least. I wouldn't hesitate to catch another show here

This auditorium is beautiful! I have been here for several concerts and my experiences are always great. Surrounded by CU campus and beautiful night walks, easy to find parking lot next to the auditorium but in case you can't come prepare to walk since it is a very hilly area but very beautiful. They do every Christmas season a holiday concert that you shouldn't let pass.

The Macky Auditorium was a great place to take in a presentation by a local rock climbing legend, Layton Kor! The talk had been moved to the Macky due to the original venue not being large enough to seat enough people. The Macky was a great "change of venue"! It was beautifully built, back in the days when they put effort into architectural beauty, and the seating accommodations were ample.

Came for a production of Falstaff, Verdi Opera. The lead was fantastic. Great production. Great set design, costumes, acting, and vocals. Level of professionalism beyond my already high expectations
