Mack's Bingo Kitchen - Restaurant in Wardensville - 155 W Main St, USA

My husband and I had dinner at Mack’s for the first time last night to celebrate my birthday. We’ve been eager to go ever since we heard that a top rated chef was opening a restaurant a short drive away and that it’s connected to the local farm that supports the youth in the area. And this place definitely did not disappoint. The food was phenomenal and made primarily with locally grown and sourced ingredients. You can’t beat the price, especially given the quality of food. We shared a few appetizers and a main dish and loved them all. They were kind enough to bring us a special appetizer and dessert to celebrate my birthday. We sat at the hearth which meant we got to watch the cooking, which was a lot of fun. They’ve created such a warm and cozy atmosphere. We cannot wait to go back!

Mack's is a great spot. It has a classy colonial industrial interior design. The menu is limited, but that's a breath of fresh air. I'm confident that whatever is on the menu is good. We both had the burger, focaccia, and fried potatoes. All of them were delicious. The service was amazing. They asked before anything if there were any allergies to be aware of, I'm particularly sensitive to this as my son (not with us) has several food allergies. It's very nice that they're aware and up front. As an added bonus the restaurant has a mission to help train local youth for the service industry. 10/10 highly recommend!

I am a little late leaving a review. We were there in October. When we arrived we were greeted at the door with a big smile. We were shown to a table and almost immediately had someone at the table to welcome us and take a drink order. We asked for recommendations and received so many great drinks suggestions. We ordered the pimento cheese and crackers. Heavenly! It is a must have. We also ordered greens, fried green tomatoes (get those tomatoes y’all!). We ordered the trout and the pork plate. Both were very good! I’ll have that trout anyday! Pork was tender and full of flavor. Don’t miss the buttermilk ice cream and any desserts they recommend. Everything was delicious and we came back the next night and had more pimento cheese and chicken sandwich and burger. More praise! Check out Bathroom 1. The decor was on point. The bar is a work of art. I felt warm and welcome here. You can’t go wrong at Mack’s Bingo! We’ll be back from North Carolina for sure.

Thank You for coming to Wardensville, West Virginia. We love seeing the new life come to this quaint town. Having a Culinary Chef in our family explaining all the various dishes helped. The atmosphere was amazing along with the various types of cocktails and fine food. A very cozy atmosphere can’t wait to go back.

What a fantastic spot. Great food, great people, and a good cause. Fresh and very well presented entrees and appetizers. The portions are for more than one person, so a great "family style" meal by adding a couple of sides.

Wow! From the moment we walked in until the moment we left, we were tended to with such incredible service! Everyone was as nice as could be, and they all cared for us during our meal. We tasted so many different foods and each one was truly delicious. The attention to detail was impeccable!! From the plating, to serving, to the interactions of flavors as we ate it- purely amazing! Will be back again, and again, and again!

Here before it’s famous! This restaurant will be showcased in magazines and TV shows in the years to come. Chef Seth, formerly of Rose’s Luxury in DC, has brought his take on Appalachian cuisine and local products to the table in an approachable and sophisticated manner. Beautifully executed and flavored Appalachian ingredients (with a Greek and Italian twist) shine in the likes of WV Slaw dog, stuffed cornbread, hearth roasted focaccia, hearth roasted Trout, and many other dishes that I’m excited to go back and try. This is top notch - and a welcome addition to the area.

The service was so friendly and professional! We especially enjoyed the fried potatoes and very creative fried green tomatoes, but there is not a bad choice on the menu. We will be back very soon!
