MacKenzie River Pizza Co. - American restaurant in Belgrade - 103 Alaska Frontage Rd, USA

Went in for lunch and had to wait a few minutes due to being short staffed but no big deal. I had the thin crust Rancher pizza and it was really good and filling. Under $20 for lunch isn't to shabby for an excellent meal.

I've been coming here..oh 8+ years. The service is usually slower than you'd expect and has been that whole stretch of time. Bozeman's location isn't as slow. Tonight we got the Chicken strips, fries, and the jalapeno poppers app, and a few other things. The first two were subpar, can get better in the frozen section, but whatevs. Convenience. The jalapeno poppers were a travesty. From the photo, the "cheese dip" had about 3 slices worth of cheese total under about 3/4.of an inch of well done baked bread crumps. Imagine the old Western where they take a refreshing drink from a canteen and sand pours out into their mouth and they cough, it was kinda like eating that. Way too many chips for the dust dip, only got half way through them by the time I finished. I would have asked for it sent back for the second time in my life anywhere, but with the slow service, I knew I didn't have time to wait. Got a stomach ache, but needed something to eat before a holiday commitment.

As they say, Best Pie in Big Sky! They choose great ingredients and you can taste the difference! Delicious food! We happen to eat on a Wednesday and they have a terrific kids special-well worth it!! Love that they offer healthy items for kids-celery and 🥕 s! Service was especially good! All around terrific!

Been here quite a few times over the years. Adjusting review as they improved quite a bit with service. Glad to see they are focusing on keeping customers updated on times and maintaining friendly service. Definitely check out the river rewards! Just found out about this and you get free stuff.

I wish I could give a 3.5. I really wanted to love this newer location as I’ve been going to the original downtown Bozeman location since the mid-90s. Unfortunately it was just a mediocre experience. We went in on a snowy night, I’d say it was about half full of people. We ordered the classic lodge poles and a pizza ..plus drinks and then we waited and waited. While we did get our drinks quickly the food took about 40 minutes to come out. At this point we were all hoping the food would be really good. It was not great but not bad. I know what a bummer. To be fair the waiter was very nice. I see on the overall reviews this place has over 4 stars. Maybe it was just an off night. Who knows.

Great place right off the Interstate in Belgrade to grab a bite to eat or a beverage of your choice. Enjoyed the service provided by our server Sam. The Flathead Pizza was pretty good. Only thing missing from it is fresh roasted garlic.

We were greeted warmly and taken to a booth where we ordered our drinks right away. We ordered the lodgepoles for an appetizer and the good Ole boy large pizza. All of the food was super hot and fresh when it arrived at our table. Our server was courteous, hardworking, and fast! We will definitely eat here again.

I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I’m now 31 and still love it just as much. Great food. Love the atmosphere. Always stop in when I’m in town.
