I’ve never had bad food here and I’ve tried several different things. They do trick you by putting a bunch of lettuce at the bottom of their appetizers to try to look like there is more food there than there is. I’ve seen this with the Calamari and the bang bang chicken. There is a good amount of outdoor seating. The staff has always been pleasant even when it’s very busy.

Golf themed Scottish restaurant on the heart of Lakewood Ranch. We sat outside which was quite pleasant despite the heat. The service was excellent and the outdoor space seems very dog friendly. The Salmon BLT was delicious but I would have preferred it on a different type of bread. The French fries were just okay. Beer selection was mediocre but domestic drafts are just $2.50 every day.

I love MacAllister's Fish & Chips! It comes with French fries and a small dab of Cole slaw. Everything tasted hot and fresh. And everyone was friendly and made you feel welcome. The atmosphere in the dining room area was cool, quiet and enjoyable. Although, there was a main street event going on outside it was not overly busy within the restaurant, which was perfect for us. I look forward to visiting this place again!

Good service. Food was good just not exactly my taste. Portion size was perfect for me. Not enough to take home just enough to fill you up. Great value and beautiful little place.

My co-worker and I just had lunch here today. The staff was extremely polite and attentive. My lunch was phenomenal!!!!!! I ordered the fish and chips, the portion was huge and the batter was amazing, the house made tarter sauce was so good I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had! The atmosphere was laid back, comfortable and beautiful with wood and stone everywhere. Last but not least, the tea was very tasty and fresh! I would recommend this place to anyone!!
