Beautiful layout! Sculptures everywhere nestled within trees. Beautiful little water ponds filled with turtles and sea life. The gardens are so beautiful and kept up neatly, with a view beyond of the Sarasota Bay. The different layers of steps, crowned by a large bronze replica of Michelangelo’s David arrests your attention and commands your eyes to watch him! A beautiful and stunning vista mixture of nature and art. There is a large playground climbing thing for children right near the rose garden. I’m not sure that kids will enjoy the gardens, but it’s great for adults.
Visiting the Ringling Museum is great. Plan an afternoon , have lunch at the restaurant on premises, take photos, and make it a whole day experience. You will be pleased.

The flowers that were there were nice enough. I'm sure it's more impressive in the late spring.
Very cool place to explore some of the local plants and trees. Said it was free on Mondays but apparently only to walk around, still have to pay to go into anything.

Beautiful gardens to stroll, ponds, 3 museums and the home of Mabel and John Ringling. I was here Feb. 2022.
Beautiful, and peaceful!! Sarasota’s hidden gem. They were setting up for a wedding the day I went and I have to say it’s the perfect place for a wedding venue. The best 30 bucks I have spent in FL. Also they have a military discount. This is a must see if your in FL on the golf coast side.
