M & M Inn - Motel in Des Moines - 647 Broadway Ave, USA

M&M Inn absolutely saved us! We got caught in a storm while driving through NM and this was the perfect place to shack up for the night. This Inn had everything we needed and the owners were so gracious to make us food since we had no food with us and the storm had all local stores shut down. The room had a refrigerator, heater, AC unit, and two comfortable beds. This place truly saved our day and was perfectly comfortable. Thanks for the hospitality during our stay! Highly recommend if you’re passing through Des Moines.

I couldn’t be more grateful for this location to have been open during a snow storm blizzard! Kathy went above and beyond during my stay, and her son helped shovel the snow out of the way when my car got stuck in the snow. The motel is very cozy the beds smelled very clean. Thanks god for the gem 💎 of motel. God bless the people who own it.

Very nice little room. I very much enjoyed my stay. Blankets were warm, everything was clean, and the owner was very nice. If i ever came by here again i would specificly want to stay here again. It was surprisingly cheap too. I came expecting prices to end up being 30-40% more after taxes but it seems like it was just the base price and apple pay tax. The only downside is that it is practically right next to the train tracks and they go by very loudly blaring their horns. While this was difficult for me, i did eventually get a good nights sleep.

Cute little place. The rooms were adorable and clean, and everything worked. That's more than I can say for a lot of the bigger hotel/ motels that are twice the price or more. The staff was very friendly. Happy I found this place.

The one and only lodging for many miles. Great people and good value, A nice, quiet, budget hotel. Super easy access.

I was unable to make my reservation due to vehicle trouble in San Antonio, and Donna was more than sympathetic about my situation and did not charge me a fee. Very disappointed I was unable to stay here. I’ve always wanted to stop and explore this seldom visited village called Des Moines and the fascinating volcanic belt it lies on. Next time hopefully 🙏🏽

Quaint but updated, the folk here are super friendly and helpful. New AC and heat. Room was very clean. It's more of a no frills motel, but it is a nice, quiet, comfy room.
