Lynnwood CrossFit Local's Gym - Gym in Lynnwood - 2031 196th St SW, USA

My wife and I were traveling in the area and we wanted a place to get our CrossFit fix. Lynnwood CrossFit was fairly close to the hotel we were staying in and their website was very helpful with good information about class schedule and what workout to expect. We went to a 7am class where they were training squat cleans. The instructor was an experienced level 2 who had been doing CrossFit over a decade. The owner was helping private clients but made sure to say hello to us. The class was fun, the community welcoming, and the equipment was fairly clean and well maintained. This is a good example of a well run local CrossFit box.

You wouldn't know it because the guy is super approachable and down to earth, but the owner, Jesse, is a world-renowned crossfit coach and competition judge. The atmosphere of the gym is excellent for all levels of athlete, and they tailor each workout to the individual. This is not the crossfit stereotype gym. Jesse and his coaches meet you where you are at with the crossfit methodology and approach.

This place it’s just fantastic! The coaches are amazing super friendly! Only good vibes in this BOX. If i can give 100 stars i will.

I love this gym and not because the owner is a bearded bad ass that looks kinda like a rounder version of Zeus King of the Olympic Gods of Greek Mythology. I love this place because no matter what Jesse finds a way to help me grow as person and increase my strength and mobility one rep at a time. He isn't just some guy who says do this workout no questions asked. He molds the workout to fit your needs which I find amazing since tons of people out there expect you to do something you might not be able to do. He works with the issues you might have with your mobility or any number of things and makes the workout work for you.

This is a great gym. I am glad I found this place. All coaches especially John are great and supportive. They scale the workout according to each person's abilities and pay close attention to form and personalized needs. Every day is a new workout so it never gets boring.

I had a pretty bad injury that left me with a lot of nerve damage in my leg. Also have torn my ACL in my "good leg" twice. Was feeling pretty old, fat and handicapped. Decided to try crossfit after getting sick of the elliptical and personal trainers treating me like I'm retarded. I did 5 private sessions with Lana, which is required if you're new, to make sure I could do the exercises safely. They totally meet you where you're at and no one rags on you for being slow. After 5 private sessions you can start going to classes. It's SO HARD to walk through the doors for that first class but you won't be sorry you did!!

I just started coming to this gym about two months ago. My sister has been a member for the last 9 years and had been bugging me to try it out. I finally gave in. I am so glad that I did!The coaches are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The people are incredibly friendly and supportive. The overall atmosphere is positive. They also have a class that starts at 5am, which I need due to my work schedule.All in all, I am very satisfied with my experiences here and looking forward to getting healthy again.

I've been going here 2 months now and have enjoyed it quite a bit! The coaches are great! They know what they are doing and know how to modify the workouts to the level that each individual can do. I enjoy the class environment there as well. Everyone is very encouraging and welcoming. I may not be the strongest or the fastest, but I am getting there!
