It’s ok, a wider selection of food compared to their sister store in Custer. Hamburger ($5-$8) and chicken ($6-$10) are still to expensive for people to afford. But the pork chops averaged ($2-3) for a pack of two or more which ain’t bad. Bread, canned food, and frozen dinners were a bit cheaper, but the pasta and veggies were also expensive. Store had way less customers in it compared to Custer so easier to quietly shop.
I live in hot springs and i shop there with my mom. I can say they need not to stack glass jars on top of one another. Especially on the top shelf. I almost had 3 olive jars fall on my head. I could only imagine my mom who is 86 grabbing one.. i knw she could not catch the extra jars falling like i did.. your in a town of alot of elderly people. Stock your shelves right. If you have extra dont try to make them fit.
I shop at Lynn’s Dakotamart grocery store quite a lot but I usually don’t get any greetings from 95% of the employees. The only ones that ever greet me there are Marcus and Anthony they always make me feel welcome and they’re willing to help me no matter what I need. I think Marcus and Anthony should both be named the employees of the month for all the hard work they do and for the care that they give to the customers they are the ones that make me feel welcome.
Was looking for sliced Turkey in a short refrigerator and noticed the packages were room temp and some were bloated from the iff gassing. I checked the thermometer and it was 80 degrees! I notified an employee who immediately found the employee working the meat counter. He said it was defrosting. I am tired of getting products home and realizing they are spoiled or eating them and getting sick. I want to shop local but I can’t trust that their meat has been properly stored.
Well stocked and reasonably priced grocery store. Good quality produce,,,,,cant believe people burn $5 gallon gas to drive to RC to try and save fifty cents!!! Clean and organized, with helpful staff. Could have a better bakery selection, but maybe that is next. Great meat selection, quality dairy products, everything you need is here is this local store. Why go anywhere else??
Love this store. It’s always well stocked and has a lot of variety for a small town grocer. The bok choy, leeks and green onions are appreciated we do lots of Asian cooking. Staff is friendly, and prices are good considering the small town part. Those who say it’s overpriced have clearly never lived in remote areas. Bravo!
Always a pleasant experience. Very nice staff and very helpful. The deli had egg rolls out. I thought I'd give them a shot. Definitely was not disappointed. They were very tasty. They need to put them out more often
This place could be a little bit better. From experience I have bought products and later have found they were past expiration. Also just a day ago the cashier did not give me the correct change back. My order total came up to $5.33 and the elder cashier woman only gave me be back $3.67 and I noticed this later. So I lost a dollar because the cashier did not correctly give me my change back. I did not complain or call the management though. I guess it can be observed as a dollar tip.
