Have been here a few times and its just a great venue for weddings, parties, and is a historical gem to cortland <3
It is like staying with your favorite aunt who happens to be very interesting and lives in an incredible mansion. The house is furnished with antiques and art from all over the world making it feel like no other hotel you have stayed in. My room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect! I am sure I will stay here my next trip to Cortland.
This was a marvellous place to stay. The place is simply magnificent, inside and out, and is preserved almost entirely in it's original condition. Only a few rooms available but the staff are enthusiastic and helpful. Serves a quite reasonable continental breakfast. Not a full service operation, but stay for the ambience; it is more than worth it.
The location is fantastic. The room is amazing! Depending upon the room that you stay in, you may have multiple rooms. This historic house is a beautiful place to stay for a weekend. Whether you are in town for a concert, to visit a winery, or to visit someone at SUNY Cortland, this is the best choice for a place to stay!
Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Great venue to have an office gathering.
We attended a murder mystery dinner at the alumni house and took a tour around the house afterwards. The craftsmanship is incredible and the guest rooms all had beautifully redone bathrooms. The event staff were great as well.
A beautiful Victorian house with a well kept garden. I have been to a few events here now and every one was very enjoyable.
Place is beautiful. My sister had a baby shower there

The food and nostalgia were great! You walk in, sit down, and use the phone at ypur table to place your order. I had a footlong coney dog, onion rings, and a diet rootbeer. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture!
