The Ly Hotel is a unique, Asian inspired hotel that has GREAT staff from every interaction we had, the front desk staff is very accommodating and nice. Our hotel room was impeccably clean, and they had very nice luxurious features in the room from the shower to the mirror, to the door (it has lights you can turn on to say don’t come in etc.) and the beds are comfortable. Nice temperature control as well. Good stay and would stay here again!

I recently stayed at the newly opened Ly New York Hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The rooms are clean and well-kept, providing a comfortable place to relax. However, being a new hotel, there are still some small quirks, like labels on some of the furniture and a few marks on the bathroom walls. The staff were incredibly helpful, always willing to assist with anything I needed, which made my stay much smoother. The room was also very affordable, offering great value for the price. However, a couple of things to keep in mind: there's some ongoing construction nearby, so be cautious when coming and going. Additionally, early morning vacuuming might be a bit disruptive if you're planning to sleep in. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive, especially with such attentive staff and comfortable accommodations. If you're looking for an affordable place with great service and don't mind a few new-hotel quirks, Ly New York Hotel is a solid choice.

This hotel is in a horrible location number one. There’s no where to Park, it super narrow. They just slapped a hotel in this spot and build it up. There’s a laundromat connected. Again just no parking too tight . Hey that’s New York. The room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet had something on it. It was red. I’m not sure what it was. I took pictures of everything including the toilet. I specifically I asked for my room to be cleaned three different times I stayed there from Friday to Monday and no one ever came in and cleaned the room. Never replaced the old towels.I had to ultimately put the towels in the hallway for them to be picked up. Nobody took the garbage out, but they come into the room and take the request off for the room to be cleaned, very strange. Had to call to ask for towels everyday. Although the young ladies that were at the front desk were sweet and soft-spoken, they did not do their job. I specifically asked both young ladies to clean the room. She wrote on a piece of paper, Management and the name and the room number and I came back after several hours and the room was exactly the way I left it. Horrible experience. Pay attention to whom is writing good reviews on this hotel. If you stayed here there’s no way humanly possible you can say it’s a good hotel to stay in. One of the persons who wrote a review works there. Strange.

NO stars at all. terrible. It's dirty. Everything in the lobby looks normal, but when you're in the elevator, the elevator is dirty. When you enter the elevator you can already smell. When you walk into the room a cigarette smell and hair all over the floor. The floor was very dirty, sticky very greasy. When walking you can feel that the floor is very slippery and sticky. terrible experience. No recommend. Take a look at how they respond to the reviews. They don't want to solve the problem at all. So Sad. |||Simply because I was going to Manhattan for training. I thought the hotel was new. Should be not a problem... I never expected it to be so dirty.

Super friendly staff, super tech-y and surprisingly upscale rooms for a budget price. Good restaurant in the lobby too. Just a bit out of the way of Manhattan/tourist stuff, but that’s to be expected in Queens. If I’m ever back to NYC I know where I’ll be booking !

Stayed here for 2 nights and here are my honest opinions: Pros: 1) Hotel looks modernized. 2) Front desk staff was polite and nice to me. 3) Q25 bus is right outside. 4) 3 mins walking from 7/11. 5) Bed was comfortable. Cons: 1) Floor in my room was extremely dirty. Staff have certainly NEVER mopped the floor before, because it looked like the dirt had been accumulated for days not months. I could also found other people’s hair on the floor as well. 2) Cleaning staff was very loud in morning opening and closing the door outside the hallway. 3) Elevator alarm went off in the middle of the night and it took them hours and hours to turn it off. 4) No refrigerator in the room. 5) Phone lines for front desk and room service did not work

I recently stayed at Ly New York and had an outstanding experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with modern amenities and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with the staff ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore the city. I highly recommend Ly New York for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in New York City.

Wouldn't touch this place with a 10-foot pole. Had to stay here for a night when my flight was cancelled and thought I found a great deal based on the original rate compared to the discount. Wrong! After telling me to wait in the lobby the guy at the front desk forgot about me and helped two other guests who walked in after me. When I finally got a room key after waiting 30 minutes I discovered the room was absolutely bare minimum: - no fridge, safe, or closet - a single bath towel, no other towels/sheets (not even a mat) Additionally, the sink was clogged and filled with actual boogers. The AC console was useless as it was set to cool but turned off in the middle of the night. Overall, I've had much better experiences at hostels around the city and will probably choose to stay at one should this happen again.
