The place is having some construction. The prices are pretty spot on. Seems dated. Very strong vanilla smell in the room. Overall, I got the sleep I needed. Skip the breakfast. Breakfast sandwich thought is better than most but seriously, just go to McDonald’s.
They are doing remodeling what I could tell. The room I was in was nice. The tube shower had tape on outside of it where it was cracked big. Not the quiet place. Door slamming and people walking heavy.
We needed a place to stay, and it was on the way. The rooms were clean, but construction was happening, and it had a musty smell. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly.
me and my friend went to this hotel this month and i must say the microwave and fridge were dirty and it was dust all around the edges of the carpet and the when my friend accidently stopped up the toliet if the guy at the front desk didnt give us a plunger and mop bucket to use|his excuse was that nobody was there to unclog the toliet since we couldnt get it unclogged we left a short time later to come back home|we will never go back to this hotel we will go to super 8 hotel in troy missouri because their rooms seems much cleaner and they have a nice free breakfast and the workers was always nice to us |i wouldnt waste your money on the luxury inn hotel in troy missouri i would advise anyone to stay at the super 8 hotel
Decent place for the price. No complaints. Staff was very nice. Bed was comfy.
A diamond in the rough. This hotel was undergoing some renovations during our stay, so I was skeptical. However, the room was clean, the shower was hot, the sheets were clean and smelled fresh, and the bed was sooo comfy! There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine as well. The TV had DirecTv and Netflix also. The man at the front desk was very polite as well. I would definitely recommend this little gem to others.
There are literal swastikas covering both sides of the doors before you walk in. At the front desk there is a sign saying you have “15 minutes to inspect your room” after that, “no refund.” I asked the man working the counter if they were aware of the swastikas, he replied without any hesitation or emotion “yes, what can i do for you?” This hotel is extremely fishy and does not feel safe. The rooms are overpriced despite construction being done. Super 8 is much better, suite rooms are cheaper and the environment is very hospitable.
I walked into this without reading the reviews until we were on our way to the hotel 😅 I'm very grateful to report that we didn't have any of the terrible experiences previous guests had reported. They are under construction, so I think they're working on fixing some of the issues that are complained about, like being out dated, ect. The room was a decent value for the price! We stayed 3 nights, the beds were comfortable and the room was a decent size. The only complaint is there was some rust around the door frames of the bathroom, and the driveway to the parking lot needed new paving but I don't think that's something the hotel can do much about.
