Lure Fish House - Seafood restaurant in Camarillo - 259 W Ventura Blvd, USA

Hello everyone, it's time to make your food souls very, very happy. So, for those of you whom love fish, this IS THE PLACE, its perfectly delicious. I've been coming to Lures for about 10 years now, and I've never had a bad dish. Every thing they make us fantastic..When we went recently we had there delicious calamari, it was perfect not chewy. We had 50/50 clam chowder if you haven't had it it's a must . It's not on the menu by the way you need to ask for it. And for our dinner lobster ravioli, wow, it just melts in your mouth..enough of that go make your food souls happy and go to Lures. Like always happy eats and God bless

Very good food and quick service. We went for dinner on a Thursday evening around 7:00. The wait was 40 minutes but we were able to find an open table at the bar (open seating) so we were seated right away. Once we place our order, the food came out quickly. All portions were generous. We ordered the half and half bowl of soup (clam and fish chowder), maple miso Brussels sprouts, miso glazed sea bass skewer, and the tequila lime shrimp pasta. The Brussels sprouts were my favorite with a combination of crispy and soft sprouts and delicious flavor. All dishes were delicious-highly recommend if you want seafood.

We had a dinner that was very good. The artichoke was very original, and the ceviche was good, and the fish white sea bus and the fish and chips were tasty. Key lime pie completed the good dinner.

Had my friend’s birthday lunch. As usual foods are good and big serving 😉👍

Excellent food, a full bar and wine cellar, easy access to the 101 freeway, and ample parking make this Lure a dining delight. The fish and seafood are consistently fresh and flavorful, offered with a variety of sides. The contemporary decor is quite pleasant but ... screeching to a halt here with the accolades! The ambience is ruined by a complete lack of acoustic sound-dampening. The din was so loud today at lunch that we were literally shouting at each other to be heard. And it's not much better on the patio, with a constant roar from the freeway. But, if that doesn't bother you--or you'd just as soon not know what your spouse is saying--it's a great seafood restaurant.

Went here for girls night and had a blast. Food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were fresh.

Our party of 4 sat at bar tops. Fun place for friends w/attentive waitstaff. Apps & Salad we ordered was all delish.

Our waitress recommended the Daily Catch White Sea Bass prepared Sand Dab style, which meant the chef lightly breaded the fish, and it came with a lemon butter sauce. It was so delicious I am going to come back every time we’re in town for the same thing. It may be the best fish I’ve ever had. Another diner at our table, who is a world traveler, and WORLD EATER says the Lure has the best clam chowder he’s had in any restaurant anywhere. Quite a recommendation!
