Luray Caverns Motel-East - Motel in Luray - 831 W Main St, USA

We had a room with a balcony which had a pleasant view over the countryside. It’s an easy walk into town where there are a few restaurants and a brewpub. Our room was pretty good, but in need of a deep clean. They provide coffee in the morning, but, sadly, no breakfast.

Stayed here for a wedding up in Luray. The rooms were clean and they even gave us real keys. They also have discounts on local tourist spots. The balcony was very pretty. Great spot as luray caverns is right across the street.

As the other reviews stated, it was a clean, front desk was very friendly. Close to Caverns. as far as places to eat, not much. They have a unit air conditioner was very loud at night. We stayed 2 nights which was good.

The location was great. Right next to the caverns and Luray is a beautiful town! The pool was so clean and fresh! The lady at the desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean. The bed was very uncomfortable. Their were no fitted sheets on the bed (only top sheets) so when you slept the the sheets got messed up and the raw mattress was exposed. The tv was an old rounded screen tv. The Wifi did not work in my room.

Not sure how to rate number of stars. I think this place is a gem…. but only because I like old historic motor courts. Our room was spotless clean, but furnished like my grandmother’s house. Good pool. I’d stay here again, given the opportunity.

Nice place to stay a night or two, older decor but clean and no issues. Front desk was helpful in finding places to eat and where to get a car battery after mine failed and Google wasn't loading.

We booked this motel because of the high reviews on cleanliness. It was the total opposite!! I had brought disinfectant wipes with me and cleaned the toilet that had urine on it and toilet paper stuck to it. Then cleaned the sticky nasty sink. The microwave still had food splatters in it and fridge still had dust on top of it. The coffee pot was so disgusting and looked like it had never been cleaned ever. The carpet was filthy and had French fries and cereal all over it. We found someone’s toothbrush between the nightstand and bed. EVERY single corner of the room had cobwebs and dead bugs. We killed 3 bugs while there. The pillows were terrible as was the mattress. Sooooo disappointed in our stay there. Health department should be called.

Stopped here after visiting Luray caverns as part of a road trip. It’s dated but charming, clean and cozy. Actually looks precisely as pictured! We had a room on the first floor, facing out the back and away from the street and it couldn’t have been quieter. Beautiful view as well, and available parking directly outside the room made it really easy to pack and unpack. Pool looked nice but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Only a few minutes drive to the caverns and some other local restaurants and attractions. We’d definitely stay here again!
