Lupi's Pizza Pies - Pizza restaurant in Hixson - 5504 Hixson Pike, USA

We’re well travelled foodies both across the U.S. and abroad. We’ve had pizza from many of those places. We know both good food and bad. We had to stay in Hixson for a meeting and wanted pizza so we tried this place. We ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza, a slice of pepperoni and one 16 inch margarita pizza. First, the good: The cheese on all 3 pizzas was good and the pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza was a thicker sliced meat and was very good. We have no complaints about these particular toppings. Keep it up. Next, the bad: The crust on all pizzas was the same and was not good…at all… It’s among the worst crust we’ve ever had on a restaurant prepared pizza. When researching the reviews on this place, several mentioned the crust not being good and we completely agree. The crust offsets the taste and quality of toppings on their pizzas. Even if they “cheaped out” and just brushed the edges of the dough and bottom of the pizza pan with a salted butter before cooking the dough, then it still wouldn’t be great but it would be better. As to the margarita pizza, we added herb chicken as an extra topping. Ordering this pizza was a mistake and it was not good. The chicken was terrible and the pizza, excluding the chicken, was also bland. We actually picked off the chicken and salted the pizza with salt packets we got from the counter. We wished we’d ordered a whole pepperoni and just scraped the toppings off the crust. Service: Not terrible but not great either. Average at best but it was a Friday night so we’ll give them a pass. Management: Listen to your reviewers and change the crust and the herb chicken. Add a little seasoning to your pizzas that need it.

The pizza at Lupi's is surpassed by nothing in the rest of the state, having consistent, well-proportioned and flavorful calzones and pizzas. Their bread & brownies are definitely worth getting along with your meal, would recommend visiting when in the area!

My first time having it on my husband's birthday and I'm a picky one... I LOVED IT! and they know what extra cheese means 😉 husband had the widowmaker 👍 👌

High quality pizza meets old school pizza joint. Good beer selection. A few cabinet style games and a back patio for outdoor seating. Great pizza sauce. B

This is the way Lupi's should be. Clean place , great food, fast and nice service. Interesting décor.

Delicious Supreme pizza. However one large pizza with water $30? I feel like that is a little overpriced. However, Ziggy the super dog was "laid out" after a few scraps of crust.

Lupi's is probably my favorite pizza place in town. There are other good options, but something about this place stands out above the rest to me. It's a little pricey, but we don't eat pizza often so it's worth the extra dough for... better dough. I'm sorry... can't stop my dad from coming out. I recommend my favorite since high school: spicy chicken pizza (extra cheese if you want it). Their salads are usually very fresh and I love their honey mustard dressing.

I've been coming to this location for probably 25 years. It's much better and more consistent than the downtown location. Everything is phenomenal and the calzones are the best I've ever had. Insane level of consistency and quality year in and year out. Could not recommend more highly.
