We arrived. There were several people already set an eating the waitress greeted us kindly and let us know if they only had one cook, and that it would be a little while We patiently waited and placed our orders promptly. We were brought our drinks within 10 to 15 minutes. Our food arrived it was a little less than I was expecting with my BLT sandwich however, it was still good. I would say overall we had an OK experience.

I rarely give a 1 star review, but in this economy, businesses should at least pretend to care about their customers. The star goes to our waitress who is doing her very best against in spite of subpar management and an AWFUL cook. When we arrived, the restaurant had just a few tables full, so not busy at all. We were seated quickly. The hostess brought drinks right away, So that was pleasant, but the iced tea tasted dirty. We waited 22 minutes before the waitress took our order. She was very sweet and apologetic. I guess because we were seated in the back corner near the kitchen door, she was not aware we were there. I ordered California Omelette, no mushrooms (allergy), with a side of salsa, and &1.59 upgrade for onions and peppers in the country potatoes. My boyfriend ordered a giant breakfast. When the food came out, the onions and peppers were missing and there was no salsa. The waitress apologized and returned the food to the kitchen. No big deal. When it was returned, and after asking for salsa again, I took a bite of the omelette. It tasted burnt. I'm on a fast (so maybe a little hangry, but trying to be fair) and my window is open, so I dumped the salsa on it and tried. The second bite had a big ol mushroom in it. I don't want to be a pain, and send it back again, so I decide to leave the omelette and eat the potatoes. 2 bites in and I get another huge mushroom! Mushroom in the potatoes? Why?! I had to leave to go to the car to take Benedryl-and write this. The waitress was very cool about it. Not sure how my boyfriend is enjoying his. I guess I will find out when my throat stops itching and I go back inside. This town needs ONE good restaurant. Other than that, we love it here. We eat at Diamond MTN Casino a lot because they are consistent. Their food is decent and the price is cheaper than fast food (which I never eat) up here. But I thought I'd throw another business some money and change it up. Big mistake. If you have food allergies, check your plate carefully. I'm not feeling that well. They took the meal off the bill. But charged $3.50 for the poop water tea I didn't drink. BF said food was "passable". We won't be back.

This is the most undesirable location to eat at. Service is very unexperienced. I would not in a million years have cooks like this in my restaurant. Onion rings burnt, burger burnt etc.

My 2 kids and I stopped at Lumberjack on the way home from Reno, like we always do. Debbie was the only waitress at the time. She did a great job. Her trips behind the counter to the tables was well thought out and productive. We have always liked the food and staff at Lumberjack, but today, we liked the food and were impressed by Debbie! (While Debbie was hard at work a man, maybe Gary? Came in and moved two plates from behind the counter to a table, then turned and grumbled about working off the clock. He continued to do so when a customer, who I believe is a regular, asked how he was doing. Him, I was not impressed with. Bad attitude, sour disposition. ) I have "bragged" about our experience to 3 people so far. The food was really good, service was even better!!

Driving through Susanville we decided to stop at Lumberjack's because they had a 4 star rating. Unfortunately, I think we caught them on an off night. The server we had was incredibly rude, according to our receipt his name was Curtis. There were only 2 other tables besides ours, so maybe 6 customers in total. He continuously complained to the cooks that he had to wait ALL the tables and clear ALL the tables. When he asked me if we needed straws I said "No thank you" and he dropped them on the table anyway. I requested no tomatoes for my sandwich and he snarkily replied "That sandwich doesn't come with tomatoes"; however, the menu CLEARLY stated and the photo showed all sandwiches came with lettuce, onion, and tomato. I ordered the shaved prime rib sandwich, but I am not confident that I received it. The meat was overcooked and dry. The server decided I didn't need the horseradish sauce that was supposed to come with the sandwich because "most people don't eat it". My brother, if I didn't want it I WOULD TELL YOU THAT. Final insult...I went to the restroom as my S.O. paid the bill. As I came out to leave, that jerk was complaining about the tip we left. Sir, you are lucky we tipped because you did NOTHING to earn it. I think we'll try the one in Vegas when we get home to see if this experience was just an anomaly. I need make a complain to get the burrito I'll never get I don't recomedend at all this place dotn waste ur time . Curtis that's the name of the namager at this time I told the manager the burrito was stinky and taste bad he didn't care he also treated me to call the police if I didnt pay for it. And asking me if I was legal on this country . So I decire to pay and don't argue and I will try to flie complain with the owner
