Standard diner feel. This is a stop on my Stanly County Breakfast tour and one thing that stands out here is the price. Definitely a good price for the quality. And they seem to have hand shredded hashbrowns. Or at least it seemed like it. They also make some fantastic tea! Great service. Friendly folks.

I have been there multiple times and this is what I noticed: 1) The eggs are purchased from local farms. They are a deep rich Yellow and taste great!!! 2) The portions are great!! Whether it is grits or corn beef hash there is ALWAYS more than enough. I'm talking sharing size!! 3) The Pancakes cannot be eaten by a single person!! Well maybe if that is all you ordered. They are MASSIVE!! About a foot wide and 1/2 inch thick. They are super fluffy and crisp on top. Better than Mamma's pancakes!! 4) The prices... OH the PRICES... Right now their breakfast special is $4 and some change for: 2 eggs, Bacon, and Grits. I would say it is close to 2 cups of grits. You gotta CHECK THEM OUT!!

We didn't have a very good experience earlier today. We were promptly greeted and after served our waitress never came back to the table to check on us or to refill our drinks. Two of the guys had the BBQ chicken and it was a pitifully small serving that was bone dry. One of the group loves stewed apples, he had one bite of his and put his fork down. Sad. I tried the Salisbury steak. It was okay, but not good enough to bring me back. It was a real let down.

This was our first time and we enjoyed this place tremendously. Our waitress was very friendly and made sure everything was good and always keep drinks full. We order 3 sausage egg and cheese and one bacon egg and cheese on a bun and honestly, these were the best sandwiches we’ve had! We look forward to coming back and trying lunch or dinner! Thank you for providing great service and food during such difficult times!

Can't ever beat their breakfast deals. Get a plate full of steaming hot eggs, grits or, rice and gravy, sausage or bacon, biscuit or toast, coffee, water or whatever to drink, only for about five bucks. Can't beat ! I love it! Anytime I go fishing with my neighbor Jeff, that's where we stop. Great food, plenty of friendly service from the girls, what more can you ask for? Hope to be back soon.

Meet some of the ladies of Lu lu's. Absolutely loved their breakfast. Best omelet's EVER!!! Friendly service. Great prices. We ate here 2 morning's in a row Saturday and Sunday. Seat yourself, quick service. Always had full coffee and water. 1-Loved the perfect veggie omelet with home fries. 1- Fantastic Mega omelet with hash browns will fill and hit the spot. This place is a must stop to try. Won't be disappointed.

Great little diner. Great food. Delicious home cooking. A big variety of food from plate dinners to burgers & sandwiches. Very friendly staff & attentive service. Good prices and generous portions. It's a very nostalgic type of little "out of the way" diner on a busy country highway in a tiny, "wide spot in the road" kind of community... a place between here and there... a place where friends can gather and catch up on local news and strangers can stop in and feel welcome and comfortable. Nice ambience inside, cute decor, very clean. Outside a little shabby but part of the charm. Many might drive past not realizing what a treat it is inside.

First time here and I’ll be back often. Great service, friendly staff and the food was amazing. I originally ordered 2 pancakes 🥞 but my waitress suggested to start with 1 because they’re huge! Needless to say I took her advice and 1 was more than plenty.
