Super charming place! Finally got to visit this week for a late night dinner. The food was amazing! I’ve never had Cambodian food before and some of the tastes were so unique that I’ve never experienced in other Asian cuisines. The live music was lovely. The drinks were okay but looked fancy. Will definitely come back again!
Fun little spot with unique food. We went with a group and everything we ordered was delicious! Standouts were the fried bread, stir fried morning glory and the crab fried rice. Only complaint was the space was very small and loud
50/50 chicken is a must get, the soy tamarind sauce is amazing! the braised short rib is also very good. lort cha noodles were a skip in my opinion. the restaurant is a bit cramped though
Really delicious food and tasty cocktails. The crab fried rice is fantastic. Crunchy and soft. We also had the noodles, the morning glory, the tuna carpaccio and the cucumber salad. The vibes were also great! Can’t wait to go again
I cane here on a special night where they had a guest chef who prepared Jamaican Malaysian cuisine fusion. It was amazing. My guess and I shared raw oyster, raw trout, roasted lobster and crab fried it was so yummy
So i had to try this place with their regular menu, i enjoyed their oyster and salad there
This place isn't really made to have a full course meal. It's more tapas vibe where you meet friends/dates over drinks. The prices isn't for everyone either
I highly recommend reservations. I did lucked out twice to dine as a walkin but the male blonde hostess did roll his eye as i didn't have reservations
The food and service were great! I highly recommend the 50 50 chicken and the noodles. 4 dishes were enough for 2 people. (Although if you get only veggie dishes you might want 5). The only thing was how hot it was in the restaurant… I guess that’s what happens when you have an open kitchen floor plan and it’s 90 degrees and humid outside. Literally every table around us was talking about the hot temp in the restaurant.
Was initially extremely excited to eat at Lula Mae but we were unfortunately let down.
To begin with the restaurant is extremely loud, with tables cramped next to each other.
Food was mediocre at best. The fried chicken was definitely the highlight, but have had much better in the city.
The BIGGEST let down was the Tom yum butter, this was our whole reason for making a reservation. The portion was tiny, but also lacked the Tom yum flavour.
We ordered the fish special which was hamachi. This was also a let down, the flavours seemed not to go together.
Some of the staff were lovely, and we could tell under stressful conditions they were doing their best.
The price point would not be an issue if the food had lived up to expectations.
Lovely cute Cambodian spot. Recommend the 50-50 Fried chicken and the duck salat. Portions were good for a small meal.

What a great addition to the neighborhood! I've visited a few times and I love the cocktails, the ambiance, and the friendly bartenders. And the food, too, especially the appetizers!
My workplace had our holiday happy hour here, and The Canary team

I must say up front: besides my own impressions after enjoying this place myself, I also know the owner very well. Although, this fact only helps this review, giving a full picture. The reason behind it is that I know what the owner's values are. Amo
