It feels like they're understaffed; the food was excellent. We had pork and chicken schnitzel, and they came in with fries, which was good, and we also had sauerbraten, which came in with potato salad and red cabbage. The service was okay. The atmosphere was similar to a German restaurant where you can share seats with others. The place was small and cozy.
The service was prompt and food came out quickly. Noting this since it was Oktoberfest, and other restaurants put us off of their waitlist a half of hour of we were done eating here.
The gravy to the schnitzel was a bit plain.
I got a salad with the chicken schnitzel. Since the dressing came on the side, I noticed that the breading was thin and crunchy .
The apple strudel was ok. I haven't had one in awhile. It is not as sweet as grocery store pastries. I feel like it could of been baked more.
Ludwig's is the best restaurant for authentic German food; absolutely wonderful food. True studel aand schnitzel. Also, amazing, large, hmemade pretzels and authentic rueben sandwiches.. The photos are with the food half gone because I kept forgetting to snap photos because the food was so good.
They have a great staff as well, attention to detail and friendly.
Came for lunch in between shops, and man let me tell you it's a lot of food! Hubs ordered A cheeseburger and some Spatzel and I ordered Langos bread and red potatoes and a single Kielbasa. Too much food! Had to get a go box. Great service and fair prices. I would eat here again.
Loved the schnitzel dishes! The sauce of the salad was super yummy. The apple strudel tart of dessert was ok but nothing amazing. I would like to go back to try the Schweinshax'n but next time when more people join the trip since it is a big dish to share.
Wonderful food. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get a seat. Worth the wait! The servers were really friendly and the whole place had a great atmosphere.
One of a handful of places open on Christmas Day. Long wait in line. The food was surprisingly tasty given its low rating. I didng expect much but the platter for 2 was tasty. Busy as expected so service was not too prompt.
Enjoyed a 2 person share platter which allowed us to try all the good stuff. Very yummy and definitely enough for 2!
We also ordered this bread which was yummy as well. We sat on the patio which was great cause we had our pup with us.
Sausage ð, Beer ð» and Pretzels... A Bavarian meal at is finest. This walk up style pub is a must try. They had lots of options for sausages lots of choices for beer and a condiment offering of mustard that was something that I haven't seen befo
