My heart, and my taste buds, want to go with 5 stars but I like this place too much to not be constructive. The food is awesome! The banana split is enough for two people as a meal and it’s delicious. The fires are golden too! Fudge cake = 🏆 The staff is friendly and the service is quick. It is cash only which I find as a negative these days. Also, the seating area get crowded since it’s really popular in the summer and they’ve packed in picnic tables. The grounds could use regular maintenance. Wouldn’t take much to keep it tidy. I would certainly recommend visiting and enjoying ice cream during a lake day!

So delicious!! My fiancé was bragging on this place so as soon as we got a moment he took me by and was not disappointed. The banana split look to die for, we didn’t get because no way we could finish it in a sitting. Just remember it’s cash only. 😀

This little grill on the side of the road is such a gem. I am so glad we found it but wished it had been sooner, lol. We stopped by and ordered the cheesesteak and fries. For dessert we ordered soft serve ice cream cones. Absolutely delicious. The young lady that waited on us was delightful. She had an accent that reminded me of the Louisiana Bayou. Loved it! She was so polite. Will stop by on our future trips to the lake for sure.

Spontaneously decided to stop here for lunch and dessert. Let me tell you it was the right decision!!! The staff is friendly and very helpful. My guess is this is a family run business and most employees are part of the family. Just a guess... Today we ordered the Steak and Cheese Sandwich, Fried Bologna Sandwich, and Onion Rings. The Steak and Cheese Sandwich was delicious! Probably the second best we've ever had. Fried Bologna Sandwich had a nice, thick cut of bologna and was cooked perfectly. The onion rings we're very tasty. For dessert we got a hot fudge sundae with nuts, whipped cream, and cherry, and a chocolate-cherry milkshake. Again, very tasty! The prices are extremely reasonable for the portion (and flavorfullness) you get. Wel6l definitely be going back!

I give it three stars because the place looks great but was not open mid day on a Saturday. Sad to say I was really looking forward to it I'm guessing closed for the season but it look like there was things inside. I would recommend calling before you go

Very disappointed tonight with luckys. It has been a family tradition to have ice-cream there every year at the end of our camping trip. We got there tonight 20 minutes before closing and they were already locked up and were walking out the door. Very disappointed!

Really nice old school ice cream place. It's on the side of the road and parking is somewhat limited but don't let that scare you. They serve a variety of hotdogs, burgers, fries, and more. For ice cream they have cones, Sundays, and shakes. We got ice cream Sundays and both were delicious. Prices are good and service was good. I would definitely go back again.

Definitely a required stop after a day at the lake. Old school walk up take it home or enjoy the picnic table seating under the overhang. (Cash only)
