I have been coming to lucky sushi for almost 13 years now. It is family owned and operated, and the food never disappoints. The lucky crunchy role is amazing, and don’t sleep on their fried rice dishes, and lo mein. I feel like this place should be busy 24/7 if you are in st. Charles and looking for great sushi/Japanese cuisine look no further than this small family owned restaurant.
Our family is from the NW (Seattle) where there is an abundance of Japanese restaurants (Teriyaki restaurants). This was our first time eating at this place. The food was really well prepared and served at the right temperature. We ordered Beef and chicken Udon noodle soups, a chicken teriyaki and an order of California rolls. We enjoyed every bite of food we ordered. We will be coming back.
I don’t understand all of the good reviews. This was substandard for even the unsophisticated St. Charles chain-restaurant palate. We were really disappointed. Our chicken dishes had hardly any sauce on them. We fed them to my niece as “Chicken Nuggies.” They were out of steamed rice, but had fried rice. It was grey, which was weird. Crab Ragoon was pretty good though. Would not recommend to anyone looking to try a new Chinese restaurant in the area. Cannot speak on behalf of the sushi, but I wouldn’t try it after our experience.
I stopped on a Monday and it was quiet, a nimber of take outs, but I was the only one eating in. Still, the service was excellent, the sushi was really good as well as the Chicken Lo Mein I had
I found this place while doordashing a delivery from here. We came back to try it and service was great, food was fresh and tasty. Highly recommended!
This was a convenient in the cut spot. A real calm atmosphere, not to busy, and the food was pretty good.
Very friendly and the sushi was great! Best California Roll I've ever had!
We regularly get edamame, nigiri, and miso soup. Service and food are great every time. Prices are really good too. Highly recommend.
