My FAVORITE place to be in Carpenteria. Ride my motorcycle here every Monday morning. The acai bowls are so good that I don't even try them anywhere else anymore. Everyone is always super nice and very helpful. Absolutely a necessity for a great week in my book
Place is awesome!! We’re traveling down the coast and found this gem. I love my espresso and a legit americano is hard to come by. This place delivered! It’s fresh, mild tasting, easy and enjoyable drinking. My wife also said that her oat milk London fog with vanilla was the best she’s ever had. Great smoothie bowl and croissant was great too.
Eat local and enjoy the flavor. This place is local to the core, and staffed by friendly baristas. My latte was dandy, but the avocado toast was especially good. Pass up the fast food chains and strip malls. The Lucky Llama is worth the couple extra blocks.
Relaxing indoor and outdoor setting with friendly service guarded by the lucky llama. Delicious mocha served with a heart.
Everyone has been telling me to try the açaí at this place for a long time. And boy am I glad I did. The fresh fruit and smoothie blend reminded me of açaí I’ve had in Hawaii. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have chocolate as an add on for the bowl but they added chocolate syrup for me instead. Very tasty. Great ambience. Will become a regular stop on my trips to Carpinteria.
What a great place for your morning coffee! Do not get discouraged If you see the line..they are efficient they move quickly and there is a big tree to give you a shade so the sun is not bitting on you. Great avocado sandwich and not bad oat meal with fresh fruits.
One of the only walkable coffee shops if you're coming from the beach, campground, or Linden shopping. And thankfully they have plenty of plant-based milks for coffee. I ordered hot and iced oatmilk lattes with hazelnut and vanilla flavorings the days I was there. They were ok--not bad but not delicious either. It got the job done. I also wished they had more flavors or unique offerings... Lavender lattes, seasonal flavors, etc. (Which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.) While they have lots of plant-based bowl options, they didn't have vegan/plant-based pastries from the look of it. Their hours are 7-2:30pm daily upon writing this. Their prices were comparable to Starbucks. The service is speedy and friendly. The designs on the coffee are fancy, but because of that, they place your coffee on the pickup bar and you have to put the lid on. And I'm not sure why, but the lids fit awkwardly on the cups. I kept double checking to make sure that it was on all the way.
Our place to stop on the way south from Santa Barbara. Coffee and bagels are great! And maybe the best name for a coffee shop in the area?!

What a fun experience. The owner chatted with us about the Turkish coffee experience & traditional pairings with baklava. We ordered Turkish coffee & baklava and loved it! Highly recommended.
I dont want to ruin surprises but this beach is definitely worth seeking out, whether you pack it in for the day, or stop by for a morning walk. Mostly secluded, local favorite, dogs are super friendly and the views are superb.
Beautiful walking paths along the bluffs overlooking the ocean and with ocean access. Also a spot to watch the seals below! Free parking, easy difficulty level of trails. A great time!
Very pristine and so secluded, way less people on the beach as opposed to Santa Barbara beaches. Lots of sandpipers, dolphins, pelicans and beautiful surroundings to look at. One of our all-time favorites.
Siam Elephant is one of the best Thai places in Carpinteria. The owners here are extremely friendly and their cooking techniques definitely reflect their strong Thai cooking background. Although the flavors may not a hundred percent resemble the ones

We were at Carpinteria for almost a week from NYC and came across this really cute restaurant where we had breakfast. We ordered corned beef with potatoes hash and biscuits & gravy with chorizo. I have to say, this was one of the best tasting breakfa
Lovely spot with a cool old school vibe. From artichoke to nibble on, to legit thin crust pizza and crispy potatoes, food was fantastic. Bloody Mary perfrct too. Staff were so friendly and gave us many pointers on places to explore close by.
Classic pizza. They are high quality. Thereâs nice indoor and outdoor seating. The pizza was made quickly. You can split a large pizza between two people. They also let you split the large pizzas half one type of pizza and half another. My pizza in
