Clean. Casual atmosphere. The pastries are good. My fave so far is the almond croissant. The Apple Chai Latte is pretty good, strong and spicy.
I feel very fortunate that this is the closest coffee shop to my house. I love the vibes of this place and, although they are closed for Covid, they have some nice outdoor seating and are still serving the same delicious coffee.
I typically just get a black coffee (which is really good - better than Brown St nearby) but they also have a large menu of hot and cold coffee drinks. They also have a small case of various baked good, including amazing tarts and some other items.
This is a great place to stop for breakfast or a quick afternoon meetup. Definitely check this place out if you have not yet. I assume they will get more busy when the new retail/residential building opens across the street. I just hope they can open up their indoor seating soon.
Changing my relationship status to “In a relationship with” this Lucky Goat latte. The flavor of the chocolate and hazelnut (I think) is knee buckling perfection. I’m afraid to try the pastry. I may never leave this cute, bright, very chill, and wonderfully staffed place.
Cute little spot with good outdoor seating. All the standard coffee drinks and a few specialty creations. I was disappointed because I thought they had snacks/pastries based on other reviews but there was only one bagel.
Surprised to found nice local coffee place in Philly. My favorite was plan croissant 🥐 and cappuccino.
Owner is stealing tips from the employees. When confronted the owner screamed at the employee while customers were there. One of them quit on the spot.
The coffee was fine. I don’t plan to come back and support this owner. I’ll go to musette or brown st coffee instead.
Very friendly service and super cute atmosphere! I love to come in because I always have a pleasant time and their coffee is great! It is small but there is also seating in the back.
Note for the owners: It's literally not your employees' jobs to pay for the overhead costs of you running a business, including credit card fees. Operating costs are the responsibility of the business owners. Charge a card surcharge if it is burdensome to you; patrons can use cash if they don't like it, but taking it out of your employees' tips is unethical, nevermind the question of legality.
