We dined here for our 23rd anniversary with good friends that live in the area. We were looking for somewhere special with a speakeasy old school feel. From the moment you walk in you're taken back to a time gone by. Warm and inviting with special books for dinner and drinks. We had our dinner in the upper level which was beautiful. The bar is absolutely beautiful and their bourbon selection is fantastic! Everything was perfect. The hostess was full of energy, lively and made us feel special the moment we walked in. Our server was wonderful. Drinks on point and food delicious. Highly recommend!! We loved everything about this and the experience was top notch. It we lived in western NY I know this would be a regular place to visit.

The minute myself and the rest of my part walked in we were met with jazz music from a fantastic band. The back of bar is lined with bottles and bottles of whiskey. The menu is filled with so many different types of classic drinks. The two that I got were absolutely amazing! The seating is plentiful for the size of the venue. Overall awesome spot. I recommend reserving a spot and then getting there early because it’s super popular!

So fun! N/A selection of drinks for us non-drinkers!! Food was awesome! Brussels! Uhhhh too delicious!! About $25-$30 a person. We had four people, 3 had drinks $125 not including tip.

Loved visiting here! The atmosphere is very moody and alive, music was so good it's been stuck in my head for a week. The drinks were top notch and we just did a charcuterie board to split as we weren't very hungry. It was amazing! Tons of interesting snacks to choose from. All very fresh and delicious. We had to make a reservation the day before so be sure to check on that. Easy to do online. The waitress and hostess seemed a bit condescending at first which I suppose matches a place like that? But warmed up in the end.

Really nice atmosphere! Dim lighting, space between tables, privacy curtains between tables in the brick cove, also seating on the upper level as well. Brick columns with candlelight. Candle light on the tables. Huge selection of whiskey, all the way up to the ceiling. This review is based on the following food. Beer cheese soup, brussel sprout appetizer, smoked carrot appetizer, brisket ravioli, and lemon tart dessert. My friend got the lobster tail and said it was delicious. We both had the smoked carrots which were decent ,although a couple of the carrots were hard. They were not the most flavorful and they were not browned. We were comparing them to the carrots at the billy club, which are hard to beat. The brussel sprouts were good, nice flavor and browned crispy. The beer cheese soup was super flavorful, nice creamy texture, although the flavor was overpowered by the beer. The croutons on the top were really good, there were large chunks of bacon in the soup which were very fatty and chewy. The brisket ravioli fell very short. Just bland. The lemon tart was the most delicious lemon tart I've ever had. Very flavorful, the texture was so silky and creamy. Came with fresh whipped cream and a pecan crust which had a slight coconut flavor. Highly recommend trying that. Although I did get a second lemon tart to go, and that one was not as good as the one I had at dinner, the crust was a little overcooked which made it kinda bitter. I would definitely come back just for the lemon tart and the nice atmosphere. Service was great also. They have live music Thursday through Saturday. It's right downtown so parking could be a nightmare, there is a lot right next to it that you would have to pay for parking.

Great place with a happy hour. As close to whiskey/bourbon heaven as you can get....relatively speaking. Old Fashions were on par. Had a dozen oysters and spring scallops. Say hello to Frank the manager. Was cool to get the background and the theme of this bar and restaurant. Cool place and vibe with live music.

I've only been here for Happy Hour but I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is top notch, you legit feel like you are in a sophisticated social lounge. The design is amazing. Happy hour can not be beat especially in today's world. $6 old fashions and $6 food items such as burgers and chicken sandwiches. I try to get here once a week since they have Happy hour every day of the week from 4pm-6pm. It's hard to find a place in the city (or even outside the city) where you can get a bite to eat and a couple drinks for under $20. I highly recommend Happy Hour but I'm sure you would still have an amazing experience any other time of the day.
