New location is spacious and nicely decorated. Food was delicious and if you want to enjoy a signature Prime Rib dinner (not on the menu), you better get there by 4 pm. Owner is a very nice fella, stops by and interacts with patrons.
As one of the few dinner choices in Jasper, this place was recommended to us by multiple sources as we stayed in the area for a couple of nights on vacation. The food and service were outstanding. Not cheap, but quality was excellent. Highly recommended.
Awesome food but waited more than an hour for our orders to be brought to our table. Waitress seemed overwhelmed during a really busy time. Brisket tacos were to die for. Great BLTs too.
Finally had the opportunity to have dinner and the Low Gap's new location. Beautiful building. Plenty of parking. Thoroughly enjoyed the Lobster a la Pesto and for dessert the Italian Cheescake with Blueberries. AMAZING! Looking forward going back soon to try something new.
What happened to Low Gap?! We had lunch today at 2:30, Friday. Very poor service. But the food!!! My order if a shrimp basket 5 medium sized breaded shrimp and a sparse handful of COMMERCIAL FROZEN DRIED OUT FRIES! My husband ordered a burger and got the same inedible fries!!!! A $15 shrimp basket!!! We ate at the original location from the opening date. Food was ***** in the early days. The quality declined over the years and we had hopes it would return. This is a pathetic play for the tourist dollar.
What gem to find in the hills of the Ozarks! Absolutely fantastic food and service! Everything we had was scrumptious and filling! Make sure to save room for dessert! Our one failing was we didn't even think of not eating it all and then could only nibble at the creme brulee...so good!
Awesome place! We ordered Red Snapper and Lamb Chops and everything was absolutely delicious!!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and chef Nick came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was to our liking. Gorgeous drive to the restaurant from Missouri is a huge bonus to our experience! We’ll definitely be back! Thank you!!!
We finally stopped after several trips of traveling to the Buffalo river area. We should've stopped the first time. Well we did so and don't regret stopping the chicken fried steak covered half the plate and the steamed veggies were so good. Also got the Monte Cristo and it was very good and lots of meat...
