Lovett's Inn & Restaurant - Featured Reviews (72)
Absolutely beautiful place! The room was cute and quiet, the property itself is gorgeous and each room has chairs to lounge in outside. Michelle was the most wonderful host, she gave me recommendations for restaurants and hiking, and a made to order breakfast each morning! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway, I for one will be back again!
I found Lovetts Inn while doing a search for lodging with a suite near the Flume Gorge. ||We were running late for check-in. I called the Inn and Michelle advised she would leave the key on the front desk and the room unlocked. The Inn was easy to find. We loved the night sounds surrounding the inn. ||We stayed in the Nicholas Powers Suite which is upstairs in the main house. It consists of 2 large rooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other room has a queen size futon. There is a spa tub and a separate shower in the bathroom. The room has a refrigerator. There is no TV. My husband and I were travelling with our 2 adult daughters and the rooms were spacious enough we had plenty of space for our 3 large duffles. An added plus is the availability of a bathroom downstairs should someone need an immediate bathroom when the room bathroom is occupied.||We particularly enjoyed the abundance of places to relax. One day I sat by the pool, while the others in my family found places in the home, and outside, to chill. There is a sun room, family room, dining area, deck, and a pool. One night we watched a DVD in the family room. ||Michelle's breakfasts are top notch. On Sunday she offers a buffet. Everything was warm and tasty. The homemade apple handpies are to die for as is the French Toast. We found the other guests staying at the Inn to be very friendly. ||It is a fifteen minute drive into nearby towns for dinner. The Flume Gorge is a fifteen to twenty minute drive. There are nearby hiking trails, but rain and an abundance of people prevented us from hiking. ||If you are looking to stay at an unpretentious inn that has comfortable beds, fantastic food, and is relaxing, this is the place for you. ||
I had my wedding ceremony and reception there - it was simply perfect! The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was super delicious, the mountain backdrop is stunning and, honestly, I couldn't have had a better venue! Michelle is an amazing person to work with. If you have a small wedding in mind (50 people max), this is the hidden gem of the White Mountains!
Love the rustic feel of this B&B. The owner Michelle is an AMAZING host, breakfast was delicious (best bacon ever!). Quiet and low key, lots of common sitting areas to lounge/ admire the view of Cannon Mountain. We stayed in a cottage and the bed was so cosy and comfy. Can't wait to go back again.
Absolutely loved staying here in September! We were greeted by Michelle and she was so friendly and gave us great recommendations on food near by. She let us know to come hungry for breakfast. We did, and she absolutely delivered on her promise to make anything we wanted. We highly recommend her sausage gravy and her French toast! We stayed in a cottage and everything was as described and clean. Michelle truly knows how to run an amazing Bed and Breakfast. I hope to be able to stay here again.
Michelle, the owner was SO kind and accommodating. She upgraded our room at last minute which was awesome. She makes delicious food and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect and close to everything near Franconia notch. The rooms were quiet and clean, loved the view of Cannon mountain from the porch while we enjoyed dinner and breakfast and the river nearby was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely return during ski season and during summer for hiking. Thank you so much, Michelle!
Enjoyed our stay very much this past weekend. Michelle was a great host, the breakfast was amazing, and the room had a nice cozy feel to it.
We stayed at Lovetts Inn for a quick weekend away in the white mountains. The new owners are great and are extremely welcoming. We stayed in one of the cottages - #11, which had a queen bed (firm mattress) and a small sitting area with a TV. The room had a microwave, refrigerator and a coffee maker as well. The bathroom looked like it had been recently upgraded. We had dinner at the Inn and also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised with our visit. They were also dog friendly which was great because we didn’t have to get a pet sitter to get out of town!
