Beautiful place to stay for a nice vacation. Views from the balcony and windows were outstanding. They're still working on things as the hurricane from a year ago hit the area hard. Still, even with work being done, it was a great stay. It's convenient having Flippers next door. 5 stars!
My fiancée and I recently got married and booked our honeymoon stay at Lovers Key Resort. When we arrived it seemed deserted. There was very little parking and not a person in sight. No one was in the lobby to check us in because they were already closed for the day. After calling a phone # that was on the front desk we finally found out how to get to our room. Our entire floor was under construction which we were unaware of. The keypad to get into the room was not easy to use. The passcode was several digits long and did not have normal card entry. We walked into our room to find that the AC unit was leaking and a note saying it would be fixed that next day with a bucket on the floor. During our walkthrough we found hair, sand, and toenails on the floor. At the bottom of the bathroom shower there was what seemed to be black mold. We were absolutely disgusted and got connected to the property manager named Tanya Reed. She showed no empathy of any kind and stated that she had just been in the room and everything was fine as if we were lying. We told her about how we were upset over the floor being under construction and she told us that it was our fault for not checking the website when it wasn’t on the website at all. She also tried to say that we wouldn’t allow cleaning services into the room but we hadn’t even arrived yet. We told her that we wanted a refund and would be leaving to find somewhere else to stay. She laughed and said that she would request a refund but it probably won’t be approved. Tanya Reed has shown that she does not care about the customers and should not be in a customer facing role. We did not deserve to be treated this way on the first night of our honeymoon. Our day was ruined because of this whole experience and I would not recommend staying here ever! We decided to stay at Margaritaville instead where we are actually treated like human beings.
I will probably never stay anywhere else when I go down to visit. I could live in this resort! The resort is perfect, the rooms at the best, the views are gorgeous, and the staff has always been helpful and pleasant. The location of the resort puts me close to all the places I love. Flippers has great food and great servers, the bar is nice and bartenders friendly. I saw dolphins and sting rays every single day during my last visit.
My husband and I found this place in 2022 before the storm. We would have returned sooner if not for hurricane Ian. Lovers Key Resort did not disappoint, but understand it is a place to relax and enjoy nature plus great food. Flippers Restaurant is just across the parking lot with wonderful seafood. Sunday we discovered Bonita Brunch for delicious breakfast (even after 11 am). For clubs and lively spots Fort Myers Beach is a short drive. Our 1 bedroom apartment was spic and span, with floor to ceiling windows, eat-on balcony and whirlpool tub. We went to the beach at Lovers Key State Park, but there are many lovely beaches all around.
This was my second time staying at this resort. Its rooms are spacious, clean and accommodating. We had one with a master bedroom, full kitchen and a pull out couch. This is definitely a place to go for relaxing and quiet time. There are not a lot of activities at the resort itself, but within a few miles of it are beaches with kayak and paddle board rentals. I do wish that there was a beach or somewhere to fish that is closer or on property so you didn’t have to pack everything up and drive to it.
The location was beautiful but the room/ service not so much. The water had a rotten egg/ sewage smell that would not go away even after running the water 20 minutes which made it difficult to shower and brush teeth and left an awful smell in the room. Went to the front desk multiple times to notify management of the problem but there was no one knowledgeable about the building on site. There also appeared to be a potential bed bug problem in the unit we rented as we had multiple itchy bites on our skin during and after the stay.
It's nicely situated on the water and is in relatively close proximity to stores and restaurants. The staff is nice. The pool is on a smaller side and is right to the restaurant that gets rather noisy. The beach is tiny and you'd need to drive to Lovers Key park if you're looking for a beach.
I just returned home from a 6 night stay at Lovers Key Resort. Beautiful place with extraordinary views. There is no beach at this resort but beaches are very close. I am more of a pool person and the pool is top notch with water as warm as bath water. The only negative was very limited WiFi which did not matter to us but if you need it bring your Hotspot. Our room had Direct TV in both bedroom and living room. Very peaceful and relaxing resort.

It's great. Nice staff but we had our chairs taken out from under us before dusk so they could lock them up. We had to sit on the sand for over an hour and a half and wait to watch the sunset.
Just 3 months ago my family had a vacation here, and according to photos I have seen coming from Fort Myers Beach after Hurricane Ian, it does appear that the entire building has been washed away. I really hope they can rebuild, it was such a great p
I never should have moved any of my clothes down from Wisconsin. I live in their clothes! They are age appropriate, and very stylish. I am also short and curvy and everything fits so well.
Captain Neil brought my friend and I out for quite an adventure. I honestly donât have much experience fishing and Neil taught me a bunch. He kept me focused and on point so I can catch most of the fish that bit my line. Neil is not only an expert
This is a very nice long beach, and it's a hidden gem for those seeking solitude. On top, they have some nice trails to hike. The price for parking is more than fair. The stretch of shoreline is extensive, providing ample opportunities to find a quie

I love coming to fort Myers beach I have been for years. I have always stayed at another place but this year we wanted to try some place different and I would have to say this place is absolutely perfect! The owners are wonderful and inviting people.
Nice beach with soft sand, great for building sand sculptures. Plenty of room to spread out and set up canopies. There are clean air conditioned bathrooms/changing rooms. Plenty of metered parking by kiosk or mobile app. Make sure you park in a mar

We first stopped at the Discovery Center to get the lay of the land, so to speak. We were met by Glenda, a docent who volunteers her time here. Very pleas
