Love Love Teriyaki Lancaster - Japanese restaurant in Salem - 3802 Center St NE, USA

Did not live up to expectations. We came because my partner said they use to eat there many years back & was delicious. Unfortunately, no one left loving their order. The most decent item was the sweet sour chicken order which doesn't really taste like the regular ssc. The chicken was dry, the shrimp in the soba was overcooked, tough, and flavorless. Service was neither great nor terrible considering the gal was handling several delivery orders by herself and businesses are shortstaffed everywhere. Either way, do not plan on returning.

First time eating at this location and was not dissapointed. Staff was friendly, food was out within 5 min, and my favorite part was that they have the sauces in large bottles so you can have however much to your liking. The spicy chicken love salad was bomb so much so I ordered a to go order so I could have it the next day.

This was $9.00. Take as you will. Yes, Grubhub does add to the cost, but 2 sweet and sour packets for these crab puffs? This just isn't acceptable even if this was just $5.00. Also you need to do better when reading the orders and make sure all the food is included. Thank you for responding to my review though. The fact that you care enough to respond says a lot. I'm upgrading this review to 4 stars. Subsequent orders have been very good. I don't think I'll order the crab puffs again at least for delivery, but in general the food has been good.

Food is awesome and staff is great! However, their ambiance could be better if they had better music selection. Maybe using relaxing Asian acustic music instead of disco music?

First time. Orange chicken and General Tsao. Tasted reheated. Not fresh at all. Chewy and hard to eat. Not large enough servings.

It's okay, it WAS better. Now they don't put the teriyaki sauce on your chicken, so now you have to pay extra for it even though it's in the pictures they have on the wall. The portion size is good but the chicken is very fatty and has ligaments still attached, so if your looking for that chewy texture it's good but if not like me, than the quality is pretty bad.

I asked for a salad and they charged me extra for the spicy but they didn't add it. very bad service they don't even check what you ordered. If I had wanted a simple grilled chicken salad I would have ordered it at a Mexican restaurant. 😡

This is my favorite place to get Teriyaki in Salem. They have a couple different locations but the one by Target is my norm. They have food at a variety of prices, and everything I have ever tried here has been really good. The food scrolling on the screen when you go up to order is actually what the food looks like. The food the serve is the same quality that they advertise. It's great. They also have a loyalty program, so you can gradually get to a dollar discount off an order. I strongly recommend.
