LOUP - Soup with a Local Twist - Soup restaurant in Wauwatosa - 7505 Harwood Ave, USA

I purchased two sandwiches (soup was included) for approximately $27. Very nicely decorated interior with a clean bathroom. The individual who took my order was kind and answered any questions. I asked for takeout but they brought out my food to a table anyways; in all fairness I was not very clear with my request. Food tasted very good today and in my past experiences. Cold soup and warm sandwiches/soup are available.

For a place that only serves soup and sandwiches, I’d expect the quality of both to be far better. The turkey on the sandwich was basically dollar store lunch “meat”, the ciabatta was a flavorless foam, and the beer cheese soup was a blend of flavor modifiers, starches, and preservatives. Finding the places almost impossible The streets are the most illogical hodgepodge of spaghetti I’ve ever seen. Three GPS systems could not properly find it. I finally gave up park a car at a different store and walked around till I found it. I must’ve spent 45 minutes trying to do that. The sign is not well lit so at night it’s almost impossible to find. Eventually, I found it though. Parking is horrible. The workers here are very nice teenagers. Super people! Now was it worth the effort? I just had a bite of the sandwich and the answer is, “Yes!” Of course it was cold and they should’ve had a microwave there but it’s absolutely a brilliant sandwich. If I’m ever in the area again now that I know it exists I’ll be back for sure.

Workers were sweet. Soup was yummy. Sandwich was yummy. I love the ham they used. The wait for the food was pretty quick and it was at a good hot temperature not boiling just perfect enough to warm you up. I had a good time. Definitely coming back.

Not good enough for a 2nd visit. Soup left much to be desired. Tried 2. Each was just a bit too thick. Soups and sandwiches both missing that something that would take them from blah to great. Employees and service were good. Music did not match vibe the decor and lighting were giving. Ordered Grilled cheese +bacon & tomato bisque Turkey& goat cheese w/ blackened chicken and wild rice soup.

So good. Perfect spot for a cold & rainy day. Love that they have soup flights! I enjoyed all 4 I tried but the corn chowder & tomato bisque were the best. The flight is plenty to share! If you just get soup, you'll get your food right away, since it's obviously all premade, ready to go, which is nice. You can also purchase refrigerated soup to go, price from around $13-20. Looking forward to coming back to try more!!

Walked in about 40 minutes to closing today for a late lunch! (Had no ideas of the hours since I didn’t check Google first!) Walked by this place so many times and I’m so glad I got to try it finally! The employees were so helpful and friendly and even informed us we could sample anything. Had the Heirloom sandwich and one of their vegetable soups! My friend got the last of the broccoli cheddar soup for the day! They pack their Togo containers so there is room for accidental prone people. Loved that they had frozen soups to go! Delicious. I hope to stop in more often to try their rotating soups. Love supporting local cafe and businesses.

Great little spot! Super yummy sandwiches and soups but I'm really hoping that SOMEDAY they offer half sandwiches and soup as an option (obviously for lower price). Pretty pretty please! Otherwise very happy with them and hope they stick around for a long time!
