Charming neighborhood family restaurant with amazing food and warm friendly staff! The owner was so nice to treat us with complimentary appetizers and off menu dishes on our first visit. Food is exceptionally authentic and tasty. Highly recommended!

If you find yourself in Astoria, NY dine here! The service is friendly and impeccable. I had had a long day, filled with highs and low-lows. I asked for a table of 1 and the waitress who greeted me was so friendly about it! I appreciated that. My meal was excellent. Loukoumi Taverna has a good reputation in the local Greek community and always lives up to it. I was doubly-impressed that the chef came out to greet everyone dining and walked amongst the tables. We took a photo together! This is a very clean restaurant with well-spaced tables.

I felt like back in Greece. The octopus is heavenly good. Drinks and the rest outstanding!

Authentic Greek tavern with amazing food and friendly service. I would recommend to start with grilled octopus and fried calamari, and get the lamb chops with lemon potato. Great for a pleasant dinner with friends, as well as a romantic date.

Drove in from Smithtown to try this amazing restaurant! Highly recommended, and it didn’t disappoint. We started with calamari, octopus and spreads. One more delicious then the other! I had the swordfish and beets…both were amazing! Looking forward to going back!!!! Worth the wait.

I usually don’t venture out to Astoria for food, but came here for a family dinner. I was really impressed by their service. Our waitress kindly sat me and my husband down right away even though our total party of 6 was coming in slowly. Throughout our meal she was very attentive and gave off a very positive energy. In terms of food, everything was absolutely delicious. Not to toot my own horn, but I ordered the chicken souvlaki and it was hands down the best thing in the table. Perfect char, super juicy chicken chunks. I’d make that trek to Astoria again just for their chicken souvlaki. We also got the Pikilia spread (spread sampler) to share - for $17 you get 4 small ramekins of spread, a bit overpriced for the amount you get. Will just order a single spread in the future.

Top rate Greek Taverna! Good food, pleasant, clean atmosphere and friendly, helpful service! What more do you want? It was my first time there and we let the waitress know. First thing she told us was not to worry, all the food is good, and we wan send back what we don't like at no charge; not that there was anything to send back. Everything was delicious. They even gave us a complimentary dessert, which was a very nice treat. Maybe I've said too much! I don't think you can go wrong here.

This is a delicious Greek restaurant in the heart of Astoria. The restaurant is very spacious, with a great selection of dishes, wines and desserts. It even has an outdoor party room. The service here is equally amazing. Noise level is low and the ambient music is at perfect volume. Great restaurant for any occasion.
