This local bar/grill is the best. They have a great variety of bar food. The fried green beans and mini tacos are delicious! If you're around on Sunday afternoon, they have some amazing boasted chicken!
Local bar with a bunch of TV's for watching games, a limited bar type food selection and obligatory beers on tap.
Stopped here before attending a show at the Driftless Music Garden for a cold drink. I knew when I pulled open the screen door that it was the real McCoy. Original 1914 penny tiles, tin roof, & mainly lit with the streaming daylight—if you don’t count the 1940 fluorescents. You wont find modern updates & it’s perfect just the way it is.
If you’re traveling in the area, swing by to support the owner— the bar has been in his family since the early 1900s. A cold Jack & Coke hit the spot on a hot august day, but if you prefer NA, it’s the perfect place to sit with just a Coca-Cola. Andy Griffith was on the TV. $1 pull tabs, pool, and family friendly if you’ve got kids tagging along. 5 minutes from the music venue.
Friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks and food. Pool table and shuffle board table. Owner often plans small events, customer appreciation days, and has live music. Worth the check out!

We stayed overnight 9/15/2023. Such a nice hotel! The moment you walked in it smelled so good. The rooms were so clean. Big comfy beds, big bathroom, pool, bar and grill in the hotel. Everyone was so pleasant. Service desk to bartender was awesome. L
