Lotus Yoga is truly one-of-a-kind. Chloe and Neil have cultivated such a beautiful and welcoming space for all to gather and practice yoga together. Whether a seasoned practitioner or your very first yoga class, the attention and care offered from the teachers and community alike is unmatched. Having just completed my 200-hr teacher training with Chloe- I recommend Lotus wholeheartedly to any one looking for a community to practice yoga with.
I’m basing my review on the couple of outdoor classes I’ve been to and I hope to visit the studio soon. The classes I went to were a sunset class at the rock quarry and a brew and beer class at the coal bit next to Incendiary. Both classes offered beautiful outdoor experiences and above average yoga poses for someone like me - a casual yoga guy. The instructions were well done and I felt wonderful after my workouts. Chloe and her team are always welcoming. Highly recommend this yoga practice!
About a month ago I signed up for the 2 week trial of classes with Lotus (my first time ever trying yoga). Despite being a bit nervous, my experience was nothing short of fantastic! I attended classes by Chloe, Misty, and Emily. All three instructors were welcoming, knowledgeable and encouraging to this new student. If you are a veteran of the practice or just starting your journey, I would recommend attending a few classes. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to team Lotus for making my experience so enjoyable!

Lotus is my favorite studio to practice yoga in Winston Salem! I especially love the morning classes offered and always look forward to Chandra Vinyasa on Thursdays. The space is beautiful with lots of natural light that makes practice feel like a special treat. The teachers are amazing, diverse, and each offer their own "style". Winston Salem is lucky to have this special place tucked away in Innovation Quarter!
Lotus has been offering invaluable physical and spiritual benefits since I moved to Winston last summer. Practicing yoga there has helped with restoring inner peace, joy and balance back to my life and it also opens up a vibrant community where I feel connected and seen with people who genuinely care about their own and your well-being. Personally, I love how the classes expand upon my spiritual practice as well as my physical practice. The instructors weave little nuggets of wisdom into their teachings that can really help set an intention for your day. Lotus Yoga is located in the Innovation Quarter of Winston Salem and the Shala emanates peace, clarity, and expansion. If you are not local or prefer to practice from home, they also offer a virtual studio where you can practice along to livestreamed classes. Whether you are just starting your yoga practice or are an experienced yogi, Lotus Yoga has offerings for you.
What an amazing surprise Lotus Yoga was to me! I have known about the studio for a long time but have been so resistant to trying it because I didn’t want to have to park downtown. I was so wrong. There is plenty of free parking so close by that I felt silly once I tried it for the first time. It couldn’t have been easier. As far as the studio, it is so lovely. It’s beautiful, peaceful, welcoming and smells so good! I have thoroughly enjoyed all the teachers I have practiced with. I have found my yoga home and am so happy to be back in a studio!
